You need to treat babesia for the chills/sweats--it also can be the pounding heart. Magnesium is good for tremors/shakes. One of the best is calcium/magnesium liquid by Tropical Oasis, kept in refrigerator. www.tropicaloasis.com or ask your health food store for it. need help? write me sue in nj sue massie
Guest guest
Jon, This could be caused by a mineral imbalance. Try eating some salt, give it a few days to take effect and see what happens. You might experience light headedness if you have low blood pressure and the salt causes the pressure to rise rapidly. If this doesn't help the pounding, try Potassium then get a good broad spectrum trace mineral formula. Tom
Guest guest
Jon, this is a common complaint with candida. I know exactly what you are talking about. I got to the point where I thought I was going to pass out when I stood up. I think in your case there is a good possibility that you could have low sodium. If you are drinking that much water and not eating enough salt, you could be washing the sodium out of the body. I tried to avoid salt for a long time in my diet until I learned how important it is. If you don't have a health issue with salt, try increasing the amount and see what happens. This is what stopped the heart pounding and light headedness for me. Guest guest
Nan B, Thank you for the reply. I am on thyroid meds, I think my current dose is accurate though as I have been up and down on all sorts of doses, types of meds etc and found a level that suits me in terms of feeling 'comfortable' and reflecting well in my bloods. I have hardly any palpatiations now but the pounding is an issue. I know I have low adrenal function but I cannot seem to treat it as the meds for it (and I have tried a few!) make me a lot worse. I am investigating the possibility of Lyme disease currently as well as candida, so perhaps that is putting extra strain on me and it makes sense that I can't take anything steroid based (even nutriadrenal meds) if I have either of those problems. I have some Himalayan salt which I will begin using as I've heard that is of benefit (have been nervous of trying it in case it complicates things again). Thanks for the breathing tips - I will give them a go as it does have an effect on my breathing too, like my lungs won't fill to capacity or something. Do you have any idea why it might be worse after starting the candida diet? Could be a form of hypoglycemia perhaps? Regards, > > > > Hi, > > I'm new here! Started the candida diet about two weeks ago now, have been extremely ill for a long time, still not 100% if candida is the problem but seems likely. > > > > Since starting the diet my heart has been pounding harder than usual, especially after eating? > > > > Does this sound normal? > > >
Guest guest
One of the reasons Bee recommends that coconut oil is not taken after the evening meal is because it can make the heart pound. It ups the metabolism and that will make the heart beat faster. It is disconcerting, but not necessarily any bad thing. Eventually, as the body gets used to having it, the pounding should abate to a certain degree. It might be an idea to perhaps consider reducing your thyroid meds a bit because coconut oil does boost the thyroid function too. Guest guest
Thank you for the replies but I have not started on coconut oil yet, I've only had a little desiccated coconut. > > > > > > > > Hi , > > > > > > > > I searched Bee's website and found articles that talk about heart pounding. Therefore its not advisable. Furthermore, it seems you may not have been given the necessary articles to get you started in the right direction. So start by focusing on acquiring the supplements and familiarizing with the allowed foods, below. Supplements
