Guest guest
Dear All, The author of that article, J. Halperin of North Shore University Hospital, is the " consultant " that Oxford sent me to in 1999 who stated that I never had Lyme disease; just had a sleep disorder and carpal tunnel syndrome. I haven't had the stomach to read the article yet, but he is a phony baloney. Eileen, NJ

He told me that there was nothing wrong with me. This was 8 years into chronic late stage lyme already. I left his office sick as a dog, feeling so disgusted and get this.. three days later I ended up in the hospital with a STROKE and his patient was in the bed right next to mine atthe hospital... he walks in our room a day or two later to see his patient , sees me in the bed next to his patient and asks me " what was wrong with me " I said to him Nothing according to you and asked him to please close my curtain.I never want to see that man again. He is DEFINITELY in MY opinion , on the take !!! Thats my 2 cents on him.

He's worse than I thought. I saw him in '99 and you had had your stroke 7 years prior. Don't worry; what goes around, comes around. Eileen >> Ditto to ALL of what you said for me . I hate to wish anything " not nice " on anyone, but I do wish that he gets the same treatment that he gives when he needs help oneday. He made me cry as well . I felt so small when I left his office. He did the same thing to me.. listened to me and seemed so nice and gentle.. and then POW all of a sudden he went into JERK mode and never stopped. I almost walked out on him. I practically RAN to the parking lot , just wanted to get out of there as fast as I could... diana
