prayer request

Hello all,I have been a member for several weeks now, haven't said too much, but did introduce myself briefly. I have been sending love and light to every one of the prayer requests. I am so impressed with what goes on here. I would like to request prayers for a dear friend of mine. Khris K. (from Seymour, WI) is a 49 year old man, who was sexually abused as a child. He thought he had dealt with the issues associated with that during his 30's. However, as we have learned oftentimes happens, the shame and pain and anger and some of the dysfunctions associated with them, have resurfaced during the past 9 months. He is trying very hard to deal with them, but has retreated from a loving relationship and is determined to become whole and healthy before giving

himself back into the relationship fully. I know he is struggling and I know he could benefit greatly from love and prayers. He says he suffers from insecure attachment syndrome. He wants desperataely to love and be loved, and not to feel numb...and just go through the motions. He wants to feel...in a healthy and whole way, and he wants to move forward with his life and forgive the past. (He has found the grace to find the gift in his abuse, in that it is leading him to work with at risk Native American youth and horses (one of his life passions). He has been struggling to get a non-profit going to achieve this, and has found it to be extremely time consuming and somewhat daunting, especially since his past has resurfaced at just this time. He is exhausted, yet determined. (Interestingly, while in NY this past spring at an Egala certification for working with horses for therapy...he discovered his lack of

truly having dealt with his own past.)So any prayers for his emotional healing, and for his success in starting his non-profit would be greatly appreciated.(And come to think of it, any prayers for me, as the suffering from the side lines "partner" would be appreciated as well.
