Guest guest
Lou, I have done numerous cardiac tests, from Holter monitor (useless) event monitors ( again useless) Nuclear Mapping, Stress tests, induced stress tests, Echo's and even more. The Tilt table test is a good diagnostic tool for Lymies. I cant recall what they really do, or prove, but you can go to Lymenet and search the medical abstracts for some info. Good Luck, Pepi
Guest guest
Lou, I don't know where you live. But, there is a lyme LL cardiologist who is in or near NYcity. If you want his name I can get it for you. Don't know if traveling is an option for you. Deborah [ ] Event monitors??? > Does anyone have experience with event monitors? Guest guest
Hi Lou, I can give you the name of a truly LL cardiologist on Long Island. I know it's a hike for you, but he was good for me. I had the tilt table test and my abnormal rhythm came out during it. Also, I had a positive tilt table test which diagnoses Neurally Mediated Hypotension. That's treated with atenolol; that can also help with some of the arrhythmias. I haven't any experience with event monitors.
