October Newsletter ~ Issue I

Humanity Healing's Twelve Keys of Spiritual Activism

The embrace of the path of Spiritual Activism enables individuals or groups to develop the noble qualities of compassion, wisdom and gratitude. It is in itself a Path of Transformation - a Spiritual Blueprint for living. We can shift our perspectives of reality through seeking service beyond self by practicing the Gifts of Service. The core dynamics behind the Spiritual Keys of Activism are creativity, adaptability, understanding and the peaceful resolution of conflicts. To read more click here.

YOUR Philosophy

Most

of us subscribe to the philosophy of some religion or spiritual path,

but such are the ideas of others. Personally I subscribe to the edict

of 'Know Thyself' which essentially means the Master within you, you

the teacher not what books and others tell you, its what your own soul

reveals.

It is true that we need guidance from others to get to

that point of inner revelation, however I would say that any path which

does not aim to awaken YOU as your OWN Master is one that seeks to

control you.

In these times of great awakening some people feel that religion and

dogma will become things of the past, I would go a step further and say

that many of the spiritual principles that people put so much faith in

are things of the past as well. Although I cherish ancient ways we are

entering a new era and must be open and ready for this new world - how

can we do that while we cling to old ideas!

As I listen to whisperings of soul I am shown how flawed these old

ideas are for example: We readily accept the ideal that in order for

there to be peace we must put aside our differences and look for things

we all have in common. Now that sounds okay in principle, and indeed we

look for people we have things in common with to form friendships.

However, what would the world be like if it were filled with copies of

you? No differences, all the same, what the heck would you talk about,

what would there be to explore?

To me differences are a huge part of the human experience, being

individuals, being all different is a wondrous beautiful experience.

The answer is simply to stop hating differences and love them instead,

recognise this gift for what it is, that as Parts of 'one' global

consciousness we all explore different things, reality is about

exploring countless possibilities because each of us sees things

differently. We all make our contribution to the whole.

The end of 'separation' and becoming 'one' to me means better

communication, perhaps by way of telepathy etc, not becoming some

indistinct singular whatever. For us to want everyone else to be of the

same mind is going backwards, it is born of arrogance and control, that

there is only one answer to anything and everything else is wrong -

your faith is wrong and mine is right - do we really want all that

again?

I am interested in your perspectives as I hope you are interested in

mine, we can debate and throw things back and forth, it's a healthy way

to explore, or it can lead to war, the decision is influenced by

whether we Love or fear.

We are getting ready to open the House of Healing on the website. One of

the sections we want to have is a description of the different schools

of Reiki. There are many different types of Reiki (I practice Reiki Jin

Kei Do), and we would like to build a reference on our website.

If you practice a school other than Usui Reiki and would like to have your

Reiki and name listed on our website, please send us the following:

*The Name of the School (Angle Reiki, Crystal Reiki, Karuna Reiki, etc).

*A brief description *When it was developed and by who. *How it differs

from basic Usui Reiki. (symbols, breathing techniques, etc.) *Your name.

If anything is copied from elsewhere, please cite the source and author.

Some schools may have multiple submissions, so we reserve the right to chose between them.

All participants will be among the first to be listed in our Healer's Directory when it goes on-line. Please send submission to the following address with the title of Reiki Master.

Healing Foundation is actively trying to make things better for those in need.

One such need is in the Hill Tribes of Bangladesh. In an effort to generate funds to help build a Home for orphans, disabled and mentally sick within a small village in Bangladesh we are putting together a cook book.

If you would like to have one or two favorite recipes included please submit them to us at the following address with the subject line of Cook Book.
