Guest guest Posted March 11, 2002 Report Share Posted March 11, 2002 I was told some time ago that aloe vera acts as a natural " steroid " without the ill side effects. It seems to calm the inflammation in my throat that makes me feel like I will choke if I lay my head down. I have struggled with having to clear my throat since the onset of this illness and then found it worsened with wheat and dairy products.
