Hello everyone,I am so glad to be a part of this group.I joined a few months ago

and Im interested in AC protocol. My son is 5 and was diagnosed  June of 2009,we

started DAN protocol a few months before diagnosis because we already knew he

had Autism, his symptoms were classic. He regressed after MMR vaccine and

developed typically until that time.We are currently using NCD as a chelator and

he has been on that for about 2 months. We are seeing really good results but I

have heard these kids need ALA to get the metals out of the brain. His DAN also

thinks he has mito issues and I read ALA can be good for that too. My questions

are this:

Can we do AC protocl if he cannot swallow pills?

Is there a quick and easy way to learn about the protocol (I looked on Amazon

and the book is 70 dollars)?

How does one know which chelators are right for their child and how often to

chelate/do a round?

We did a provoked urine test and he was positive for 12 metals but they were all

in the " low/normal " range.

He has come SO FAR and I do not want to hinder that progress by doing chelation

the wrong way.

Here is what he is on:

GFCFSF/dye and preservative free diet

Trienza enzymes

Probiotics

MB12

VitC,vit D,vit E,CoQ10

Dr,N's multivitamin/mineral powder

Fish oil with Omega 3,6,9

Herbathione

Intestimend

Valtrex

NCD

He was taking Carnitor and cell power but we stopped them because it made him

" climb the walls " hyper.

THANKS TO ALL for any input you can give,

Melinda
