New product reduces oxidative stress

Has anyone else tried this product called Protandim?

I saw that a few of the big news stations did shows on it and there are many

peer-reviewed independent studies on it's ability to reduce oxidative stress

(HUGE in the autism community) by over 40%!! In one of the news stories, the

journalist had before and after blood draws, while he was doing the show. He

took the product for TWO WEEKS and sure enough....his oxidative stress was

reduced significantly, they said to that of a healthy infant! The ingredients

are very familiar to most of us as well, it's the combination of them that turns

on our body's ability to decrease oxidative stress and increases glutathione.

I've even tried researching this along with scams, and all those who thought it

would turn out to be a scam were pleasantly surprised! Included in that list is

It appears that the autism market hasn't yet been targeted by this product, but

it appears to be something to seriously consider.

And lastly, the ingredients

Milk Thistle Extract - (Silybum num) Biennial Thistle with large clasping

white blotched leaves and purple flower heads. Naturalized in South America, and

California.

Bacopa Extract - (Bacopa Monnieri) Otherwise known as Waterhissop. A perennial;

creeping herb grown throughout India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, China, Taiwan, Vietnam,

and also found in Florida. Has a number of uses in Ayurvedic medicine. Studies

have shown it has anti anxiety effects in humans and memory capacity and motor

learning on rats.

Ashwagandha Root - (Withania Somnifera) A member of the pepper family. Also

known as Indian Ginseng, Winter Cherry, and others. Grows in India, Nepal,

Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh. Traditional and Ayurvedic uses include

treatment of memory loss, and numerous other applications.

Green Tea Leaf Extract - (Camellia Sinensis) Tropical evergreen shrub cultivated

in China, Japan, and India. Have been used in traditional medicine to treat

Asthma functioning as a bronchodilator. Studies showed that it can reverse

resistance of methicillin in bacteria's such as Staph.

Turmeric Extract Rhizome - (Curcuma longa) native to India and is the source of

I would guess that this product may be high oxalate so before I try it on my

kids who are on a low oxalate diet, I am going use it on myself as I go through
