Hello . All you have to do is ask them, love. A real guide will never keep their name from you. Of course the first name that comes to you, or a name that you've been fond of since a child is a lot of times the name of your guide. I used to be fond of the name when I was a kid. When I got into contact with my (main) guide for the first time consciously I got the impression that her name was Ina. There's another guide as well. He's a male, but he's much stronger than Ina. He's more of the "daddy" guide I guess. Comes around when I need a really good smack. The only name impression I get from him is "J". His is a J name. Just quiet your mind, meet up with your guide and ask them their name.
