BTW - congratulations on filling out your own SSDI forms, I've had mine for

weeks and just can't get myself to do them. I even printed a sample from a

site that sounded just like me, so I can essentially copy it, and just

change dates and doctor's names. But I'm dreading it!!!!!

>>Vickie, You are one young looking grandmother! Like Eileen, I received my

SSD after the first try. I waited two and a half years before I was willing

to apply, kept telling myself, I was going to get better. A lot depends on

how well you fill out the papers and how well your DR. does. I have helped

others in my support group. We have an Attorney that has been very successful

in getting Lyme patients SSD, They are a big firm and travel to other states.

Let me know if your interested. Oh by the way. I'm the grandmother of 4

wonderful grandchildren, ages 8, 8, 10, & 13. Unfortunately two of them have

Lyme. Eileen, I know what you mean with your education mine was a long hard

road and I didn't finish my education at an early age, it was a great loss to

me not be able to do what I loved. I couldn't flip burgers at any burger

place. Couldn't handle the sensory overload. I short circuit if more than one

thing comes at me at one time and can't remember something two seconds after

you tell me something.

Eileen my EEG is very abnormal very high Alpha waves and Delta waves with

moderate dysfunction at the levels of the cerebra hemispheres. According to

the Neurologist I saw today. She said this means much inflammation in the

brain. Is it any wonder? I have only been treated for 13 days with IV

antibiotics as I have latex and silicone antibodies and appear to not be able

to handle the tubing. I have been trying to get IV-IG (Immunglobulins) but

this is so difficult to get in this state as the cost is about $8,000.00 per

treatment. I refuse to curl up and die so I'll just keep plugging away!!! By

the way Eileen thanks for the compliment regarding the quilting squares from

Michigan, we worked hard on them. Carol F. in MI
