Guest guest
I am curious about this too. I have been reading GiGi's thread on LymeNet with interest: http://flash.lymenet.org/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=1;t=069156#000000 She and her husband went to Germany and were treated for 3 weeks with the Bionic 880 by Dr. Woitzel. They have come back to the US (WA State) with a machine and are continuing treatment on their own. They are reporting very positive results! Her husband had heavy-metal toxicity and Parkisons-like symptoms with his Lyme and he is now walking well! The machine supposedly deals with all co-infections, heavy metals, etc. at the same time as it kills the Lyme Spirochetes. BB/Ellen > > Here is some info they sent me from Germany. Guest guest
There are a few more people over there now for treatment. Will be interesting to hear their results. Guest guest
I am dismayed to find out today that GiGi has now deleted her LymeNet thread about her experience with the Bionic 880 -I guess she was feeling under attack. > > There are a few more people over there now for treatment. Guest guest
I for myself, would try the Bionic if I had the budget to do it, and as I don't live too far from the doctor who uses it. In Germany, there's very extensive alternative treatments for sick people with different kinds of chronic diseases, and lyme disease is not an exception. I got again into remission, but I know borrelia can return at any moment as it did before. So in my case, there's no other treatment in view, as I don't have symptoms anymore. What I want is just not to have it again back when a big stress happens. Gigi has no lyme for years and when she was treated with the Bionic, showed an EM rash fast. It means, borrelia was still hidden. So it WILL be for all of us, chronic lyme sufferers. So, I'm glad there are options to treat people like her an me, symptomless guys. Maybe it's not an alternative to very sick people or whatever (I can't say myself as I never tried it), but in my case, there's not many treatments who can help in the phase I am. I can get months symptomless, then at first big stress, I get either an EM rash back or another light lyme symptom and then spiral down if I don't treat myself. I am glad that alternatives like the Bionic exists, and that there are thousands of people using it here in Europe. The numbers speak by themselves. The machine is being used all over Germany and there are quite a few in Switzerland, but it is not used only for lyme, but for many other conditions. Maybe it's not THE answer for us all (as I too, don't believe there's a single answer to millions of different bodies), but I'm very glad I can go now somewhere else for treatment in the specific phase I am.
