Guest guest
> NIGHT SWEATS; My thoughts were babesia also. I've had a recurrence of night sweats and started artemisinin again since I always think of it as babesia. That has been a confusing symptom for me since I've gone through menopause during this lyme and company debacle. Knowing for sure if it was lyme, babesia or menopause has been impossible but now I think more along the lines of babesia. I feel better very soon after starting the art. Last time, though, I got a rash and had to stop taking it. Hope I can stay on a good length of time this time.jo > Aren't night sweats a sign of babesia? - Robin > > > In a message dated 6/17/2008 11:25:30 P.M. Guest guest
Night sweats can be also a detox reaction from the body. Our body is detoxing a lot during the night, and one way to do it is by sweating. I was having night sweats again recently (but just once in the night), when the load of borrelia being killed was too much. Now they stopped. I'm pretty sure I don't have babesia anymore. I live not too far from northern Italy. Italy is not very known for lyme disease, but I'm sure there are contaminated ticks there too, as it's just bordering all these very contaminated countries (Switzerland and Austria). I would take MUCH more than only cats claw. If you suspect babesia, I would try some antimalarials to see how I react. It was with an antimalarial that I discovered I had babesia first time, because after taking it (Riamet), my 4 months non stop night sweating disappeared at once. That convinced me.
