I loved the part about her ordering the nurses around. Sharon Hi My Friends Well I imagine alot of our thoughts are with Cam tonight wondering how she is doing after her Stage I Surgery. Knowing her, I bet she is doing well & with all the Positive Vibes being sent her way that has to have helped. Can anyone tell me exactely where North East Baptist Hospital is? I am glad Pete reported on Cam's condition. your Post on your psychotic episode after your 2nd bout with General Anesthesia was very funny................I had a similiar experience after a Posterior only Fusion in 1990, I felt like I was not in a real hospital & that I should just take out the IV & Foley & get dressed & go home......mind you this was like 3am, so I called my husband Jim & he talked me down & by morning I was better but it certainly is a weird feeling when it happens to you I am still waiting for my dates & getting more & more antsy even though it is not Spring yet. I told a few friends that you know if you have ever smoked how when you order food & you wait & wait but as soon as you light a ciggie the food comes.........Well in my desperate not thinking too clearly mind I told them now that I have quit smokins for the surgery, maybe if I light up Lindy will call me with my date, Hummm I thought it was worth a try, desperate people, take desperate measures, but noone besides me thought it was a good idea. So I scratched that idea & am busy racking my brain for another idea. If anyone has any ideas please let me know. Maybe if you called the Dr's ofice and ask or tell them you havent got a date for surgery yet they will tell you what to do. Thats what I did and they hooked me up with the surgical coordinater, when I called her she had a date set up for April 1st and 6th. I was wondering when she was planing on telling me. Then those dates are only five days apart and I remember Dr R said, he goes 7 to 10 days apart. It worried me I wasnt sure if something changed or if it's a mistake so I called the Dr ofice. Precilla is verry nice, when I explained to her how felt, She spoke with Dr R. and he said that I'm young and physically fit I should recover fairly quickley but he would like at least 7 days. well thats good news. I felt better. I think the coordinater will try to fix the dates. She told me they are tentative. So I'm still not sure of my true dates but I feel better that I said something.
