Guest guest
sound to me like peripheral neuropathy--have you checked with a DR??? a good idea as this sx can be from the Lyme or from the meds--even the herbs--even them mixing with the sunscreen chemicals thats why those of us here more experienced suggest a good Lyme knowledgeable Dr on board at all times!! FYI when you have sun sensitivity reactions the skin usually does turn red, like a bad sunburn. which is why I dont think thats it good luck Finette
Guest guest
, it sounds like nerve pain. Irritated nerves in your skin can be very tender to the touch. At one time I could not put my head against the head rest in the car because it hurt like crazy for absolutely no reason. I have had strange pains anywhere. Sometimes my heels would hurt putting them up on the bed. I have had the classic pins and needles kind of pains in my legs, odd feelings like a bee was stinging me, or itchy feeling like something is crawling on me. All the weird things and extreme pain sensation is very common with Lyme disease. I was on Lyrica for it for a while, helped a little, but mostly I just try to ignore the weird pains anymore. With all the herbal meds I am trying to keep prescription meds to a minimum. Maybe some essential oils would help with the pain you experience while doing simple things like flossing. I remember a very recent conversation on this group where they were using topical essential oils for arthritis pain, maybe that could help with nerve pain too. Good luck, feel better soon.
