Need Some Help with my Joints

I recently read the book healing lyme,

I am 27 and come from england and seem to be one of the lucky few to

get lymes. I have had it for four years, It took me months to be

diagnosed and even then was only given a months course of antibiotics.

After the initial effects of the lymes had passed (tiredness and

inability to motivate) I picked up a shoulder injury (being a climber

and carpenter this is not uncommon), then six months later I picked up

another one in the opposite shoulder. Over the last four years my

joints have become increasingly painful, but never swelling as is

characteristic of lymes arthritis.

I have now had three operations on my shoulders but I am still left

with problems. The doctors say I am Hypermobile, which I think could

have been brought on by the lymes. It basically feel like my joints

especially my shoulders are sloppy and unstable. Having read about how

lymes live in the collagen I was wondering if I might be right and if

so how to treat it.

I know what the protocol in the book is but I'm not sure a qualify as

having arthritis and can't find any evidence of a link between lymes

and hypermobility. If any one knows what might be the right thing for

me to do I would be greatful as over the last four years I have lost

my career and my sport, but I am determined to get them back.

Thanks

Joe
