Still looking at this problem...some networks are having this and

some not...the change/upgrade to all Ning Networks tonight[?] may

resolve all or most of them.

Ning is changing the use of regular javascript to a new version of

code that's suppose to be better, and herein lies the biggest problem

some are experiencing. IF you have javascript on your page it could be

affecting at least some of your abilities on the network your using.

In other cases, it may be the network owner is using a 3rd party

javascript on the right hand side [affects all pages of the network].

It doesn't seem to be a browser issue per se. I use FireFox 2.+ and

only have a box that pops up ever so often on a page using javascript,

but usually referring to a flash component.

You might try another browser, even if you like the " other one " better

just to see if you can see a difference...at least in the meanwhile as

a work around. This will tell you a lot.

Meanwhile, all networks will have some clean up work to do after this

upgrade just to tighten up stuff. I wouldn't suggest leaving any

network just because of the current problems, or from time to time. We

all know MySpace has it's own issues every so often that drive us

nuts, we can stand a few glitches to get things better.

Just know that there are the owners of the networks, admin's and Group

creators who are doing much more than just postings...as they spend a

lot of time working out these things, looking for answers.

Hopefully much will be fixed tonight, or as soon as they actually do

the upgrade...they just informed me it was pushed up another 30

minute...go figure....lol
