Lighthouse Meditation

Light is one of the most powerful and universal spiritual

healing symbols.

Start by picturing yourself standing at the base of a very special

lighthouse. This lighthouse is a healing center built on a power spot

of the earth. Walk all around the base of the lighthouse and feel the

energy surrounding it. Be aware of the land it stands on and feel the

energy of this place. A loving energy draws you to walk into the

lighthouse. So you walk up the steps to the lighthouse. Be aware of

the type of door the color and texture... open the door and walk through.

Once inside, there are a set of spiral stairs leading to the

top of the lighthouse. In the dim light, you grasp the railing and

begin climbing. As you slowly move upward, step by step, you spiral

around.

You go past a window with a red glass and the light from outside

fills you with a clear red color.

Climbing further you come to a window of orange glass and the light

fills you with a clear orange color.

You climb further and pass a window with yellow glass and the light

fills you with a yellow colour.

The next window you pass is made from emerald green glass and as you

pass your body is filled with a beautiful green light.

As you climb the next window is made of blue glass and your body is

filled with blue light as you pass.

The next window you approach has an indigo light and you are filled

with this light as you pass.

The last window you come to has the most wonderful mauve light coming

through the glass and your body fills with this light.

As you reach the top of the lighthouse, you become aware of flashes of

white light which grow brighter, and brighter. The flashes of light

beam out over the ocean to warn ships of danger.

As you stand at the top of the lighthouse... this light fills your

whole body.

You walk outside the lighthouse onto a balcony overlooking the ocean.

You are aware of dolphins playing in the waves below and whales

effortlessly gliding past. Watch them for a while.

You walk back into the lighthouse... If you wish you can

change the speed of the lighthouse light revolution

Try changing the color of the light from white to all the colors of

the rainbow.

If a part of your body needs healing shine the light towards that

area.

If you would like to send healing to a part of the Earth that you feel

needs healing,

point the lighthouse light out across the miles to them.

It is time now to leave your light house. Slowly walk down the stairs

past the mauve window, then the indigo window, the blue window,

emerald window, down on to the yellow window, your body is so light it

simply floats down the stairs. Past the orange window down to the red

window and out the door where you entered. Exit through the door. The

meditation ends here.

Sending Out Love

Once you are back from your lighthouse journey and are aware of how to

send out light. Pretend there's a small door on your heart. Open that

door, and feel the pure love pouring out. Picture someone in your

mind, and send the love out of your heart like a lighthouse beacon to

that person. Move on to other people. They don't have to be people

that are still alive. You can send love to friends and family members

that have passed on. Move on to people that you know, your family,

people at work, neighbors - pause on each individual for a minute or

so. Try it on people you are not so keen on too. Partway through your

meditation, if you feel your beacon start to weaken, imagine a pure,

white light coming down from above, into the top of your head, and

" recharging " your heart.
