Hi all!

I'm going to be traveling to West Virginia in early November from

southern cal. My boyfriend was there a couple months ago and said he

saw plenty of ticks on his mom's property, a few in the house, etc.

Two of her dogs had been missing for a week and they ended up coming

back on their own. He said he pulled hundreds of ticks off of them.

They had 20 or so around each eye!!! Of course I'm a little freaked

out that he pulled them off with his hands... I've told him NOT to do

that, grrr!

Anyway, I want to take a couple tick removers with me in case we see

anymore attached to anyone or any dog, and I want to leave one there

with my mil. I would also like to take some sort of repellent.

Is there a particular tick remover that is best or easiest to use?

And, Finette, I know awhile back you mentioned some sort of repellant

that your daughter used, I forget which country she is in right now,

that seemed to work quite well. Was it a natural product? I would

prefer to try something natural. Would you mind giving the name of it

again?

I appreciate any help!

Tiff
