Guest guest
my sons stomach pains were helped with lots of probiotics. particularly the bio k drink for kids. also a heating pad and tums would help him. i have read that peppermint tea and aloe vera juice help too On Tue, Jan 11, 2011 at 7:46 PM, heidy mahady <mactan_girl@...> wrote: > > > > > Anybody here who can help my daughetr with stomach pain, shes been in > antibiotics for six months and has been compalining of abdominal pain. Guest guest
There's a stomach virus going around. I had it last weekend and i was doubled over in stomach pain. Make sure it's the antibiotics and not the virus. i also had flu aches and gridlock digestion. no appetite for days. Guest guest
I always had stomach pain from antibiotics which is why I chose not to treat my Lyme with abx. I believe there is a supplement called DGL licorice which supposedly soothes the stomach. You might research this. I am not sure if it would be appropriate for a child. deb > > > Perhaps try emerg..anouther ped..pain that bad is serious I would think... > > > > > From: mactan_girl@... > Date: Tue, 11 Jan 2011 19:46:38 -0800 > Subject: Re: [ ] Re: My daughter have extreme stamoch pain 10 pain scale. Guest guest
How old is your daughter? Not sure how comfortable she would be with this suggestion -- have you considered taking her to an acupuncturist? If needles are a problem for her, some acupuncturists have methods without needles. Chinese medicine and acupuncture have provided great relief for my digestive and painful gut issues. Guest guest
YES!!! i did that for my son too, cant believe i forgot to mention. our accupuncturist treated him for stomach pain and headaches, and they were reduced by like 90%!!!! he used more of an electromagnetic machine that he put on the points, not needles. he is in escondido if anyone is in the san diego area. they only charge $20-40, whatever you can afford. it has been such a blessing On Wed, Jan 12, 2011 at 7:52 AM, Coughlin <jcoughlin1011@...>wrote: > How old is your daughter? Guest guest
My daughter had a Lyme bullseye a year ago. After a month of amoxicillan (she was 7), I had her on a maintenance does of Samento. I slacked off giving this to her for a few weeks. Then she had severe stomach pain for weeks on end. Putting her back on Samento either didn't help, or she was herxing and we couldn't tell. Finally we had her re-tested, and she was on abx for another month. I'll never know if she relapsed, was bitten again, or simply needed the Samento all along, more than I understood. Since then I have given her Samento every day, and if I miss, her stomach hurts. Predictably. If I don't miss, she is basically fine. It is crucial for us and I'm so thankful. I know Buhner is no fan of Samento but I bought a big supply of it before reading his book, and now we are using up the supply. Then I'll see if regular Cat's Claw works the same for my daughter. Hope this information is useful, best wishes with your daughter! Predictably. that's a bit weird, I haven't heard such an experience before. I don't think Samento really kills Borrelia (certainly not in the stomach ...), but maybe one of its many immune-modulating properties is helping your daughter. Keep in mind that Samento (like catsclaw) can be hard on the liver.
Guest guest
Hi Steve I'm curious about the stomach virus. This weekend I had severe muscle aches, congestion, complete loss of appetite and stomach pain. Most of the flu symptoms have abated by now but I still have the stomach pain. I was worried that this is from the Lyme but I didn't know about the stomach virus. How longdid yourstomach pain last? Thanks, karen > > > >> > >> > >> > >> > >> Anybody here who can help my daughetr with stomach pain, shes been in > >> antibiotics for six months and has been compalining of abdominal pain.
