Glomer,

Can you e-mail me if you get a reply to this? I would be very

I've used acupressure for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. It's helped quite a bit even

though I have Lyme and not CFS. They do have a lot in common. Personally I

believe that a high percentage of people with CFS actually have Lyme Disease and

don't know it. If you google CFS acupressure you should be able to find a list

of points. If not, I have a list I've used that I can send you. Bonita

Hi,

I don't know what any acupressure/acupuncture points are for Lyme

specifically, but one of my worst symptoms has been nausea. Nausea

that nothing helped get rid of... NOTHING! (excuse me for yelling,

it's that bad). ANyway, my acupuncturist has treated me two times for

nausea using a needle in my right forearm near my wrist. I forget the

exact location, but I know it is a standard point for nausea. After

the second treatment, my nausea went away and has yet to reappear.

What a huge relief!! This was 3 weeks ago. So, though it was not a

specific point for Lyme per se, it would seem that points for

specific symptoms may still be of use to us Lymies. Just my 2 cents.

Thanks, Bonita and :

I'm glad you both have had such good success! I will google CFS and acupressure.

I missed

a couple weeks of acupuncture, and felt decidedly worse, so I'm a believer.

Thanks again and take care,

Traditional Chinese Medicine the flexibility of the system allows for the design

but there

may be such things as " most commonly used points " that may be considered first.

This is

called syndrome differentiation in TCM and can be applied to lyme disease as

well as any

other.

My son is severely delayed in speech, language, and communication. His

formal diagnosis is autism. He had 3 tick bites that occurred after his

diagnosis. Do you have any advise for us in terms of acupuncture points?

Thank you.

I guess there are no specific points for lyme, but there are points

for relieving symptoms which vary from person to person.

Like my sciatic nerve inflamation probably caused by lyme in my case,

also resolved fast after accupuncture. Or chilly hands and feet, also

caused by lyme or herbs, can be relieved by accupunture. Or to make

your energy better, there are a few points, relieve tummy aches, acid

stomach, make the herbs go where they should go but don't...

Balancing meridians, improving digestion, improving lymphatic

drainage, I guess there are hundreds of applications... Again, I

don't think these are specific for lyme, but work more on a lyme

adjuct treatment to help the body face with so much stress.

The easiest for me, and most useful, cost is zero, is EFT or MFT

tapping. It can be done any time, but I usually do after taking herbs

(to help its distribution in the body), it has a calming effect, it

helps you feel grounded.

I still use it with my daughter when she can't sleep for any reasons.

The easiest description is in Mercola site, I guess you got to search

for EFT and get his photos showing where are the points.
