I used CS in my eyes for exactly that problem. I also woke up every morning

with gunk in my eyes and covering the eyeball. i try and use the drops 1-3

times a day.

Subject: [ ] OT: blurry vision/eye sensitivity

I also have blurry vision, light sensitivity, night vision problems (I can

walk into a dark room and feel like I'm blind now, whereas before my eyes

would adjust and I'd be able to see) when I go to sleep at night, I have

to cover my eyes because any light bothers me, even w/my eyes closed.

Anyone else have sensitivity to light when their eyes are closed? I can't

even sit in the sun w/my eyes closed, I see bright red super quick and my

eyes feel like they're on fire and I have to cover them.

What causes this? Has anyone been able to eliminate the eye sensitivity?

Hi Jo,

I have had pressure behind the eyes and swelling of the eye with sty like

symptoms. I've heard others talk about blurry vision. My vision suddenly

changed about 2 months ago when I had the extreme pressure and sty. I

still have pressure fairly often. I'm just starting to treat for

Bartonella. I'm picking up A-Bart from my doctor today.

Connie, do you have more specific info on 'eye problems?' I have

progressively poor night vision (low light vision); otherwise my eyes are

typical for my age. I take bilberry but have not noticed a marked effect.

I also have had burning on the soles of my feet for years; even before

getting lyme???? I've always wondered what it was. The only clue anyone

had was diabetic nerves, but I don't have any tendency toward diabetis.

I'm also wondering about the night sweats. I have 'sweats' any and all

times of day and night. I treated for babesia heavily and am still having

them some (though less). Wondering if its hormonal instead of babesia. Any

ideas anyone?

Thanks, jo

Hi,

Can I use store bought CS? I too sit at the computer all day!

I started removing EMF's as well, got rid of the tv in my room, unplug all

the lights at night, got a battery operated clock, my phone jack is in my

room, if I remove the phone from it, the jack can stay?

I heard once laptops are unplugged it disconnects them from the wifii, is

this true, or is the wifii still on when the computer is disconnected?

We lost our power for 4 days from a bad storm, I felt so at peace and

actually slept well, I'm certain I'm sensitive to emf's.

Where do you get the earthing mat? I have hypercoag. really bad,

especially in my legs. do you lay your feet on it and have it grounded to

the floor?

I have a hard time detoxing, I don't even sweat; I do epsom salt baths,

sauna's, dry brushing, chlorella, I really want to do CE's, just haven't

gotten there yet.

I too have had these vision issues for quite some time. They seem to come

and go. I use a clean nasal spray bottle and fill with colloidal silver

and spray in my eyes when I need to. This relieves the strain and dryness

immediately.

I find that sitting at the computer (which I do for my job all day long)

makes the eyes much worse. Take breaks when you can.

Another thing I trying to do is reduce exposure to EMFs as much as

possible. I bought an earthing mat to ground myself which supposedly pulls

positive ions out of the body (also supposedly helps reduce blood

hypercoagulation) - I sleep with my bare feet touching it all night,

although they sell fitted sheets for the bed but much pricier. I unplug my

microwave when not in use. I got rid of the electric clock radio on my

nightstand. I want to relocate the cordless phone base station to another

room as it currently is on my nightstand. I will be shutting off the WIFI

overnight and I am trying to relocate it since it is literally at my feet

under my desk. I started getting sick when I moved into my house and put

the WIFI router in my office. I am reading a book called Zapped which

explains how to reduce exposure to EMFs if you are sensitive to them as I

appear to be.

By the way, Buhner suggests an eyewash made from Stephania root which is

supposed to help although I found the recipe too strong and it burned my

eyes.

Yes, you can use commercial CS. Empty a nasal spray bottle, rinse well with

distilled water, and add the CS. Use as much as you need to.

I bought my grounding mat through

http://www.integratedholisticsolutions.com/emf_products.htm. See the Premium

Conductive Mat. It was around $57 including shipping. It comes with an

indicator light to show if the outlet is grounded and I also checked with my

electrician to make sure that my home is properly grounded (with a rod that is

buried in the ground). Someone told me the mat can cause herxing but I haven't

noticed this.

I believe the WIFI puts out signals even if the PCs are turned off. Also, you

can pick up WIFI signals from your neighbors' homes as well. Best to turn off

the wireless router when not using the computer.

I'm with you on the detox. I bought a FIR sauna and it takes 30 min but I

finally start sweating and the heat feels so good. Of course, months ago I

wouldn't have been able to handle the sauna but now I can. I haven't tried CE

yet either. I am seeing an ND next week and will ask about that and liver

cleanses.

Hi Deb,

I tried looking at the site you listed for the mat, but it said it was

incorrect.

Could you please post it again???

Also, what is a FIR Sauna? and where did you purchase that and how much did

it cost.

Also, I have been reading that if you have pain on the bottoms of your feet,

that could be

Bartonella versus Babesia, not sure, just what I read.

Thanks for all the good information.

http://www.integratedholisticsolutions.com/emf_products.htm (there was an

extraneous period at the end of the link) The Earthing Institute also sells

earthing products and someone posted the link in a previous post within the past

24 hours.

FIR sauna is Far Infra Red sauna. It's like the old Fred Flintstone unit where

your head sticks out. The temp doesn't have to get as high because the far

infra red heating can penetrate tissues more deeply and induce sweating, hence

detox. There are so many available at a variety of price ranges, from as low as

around $150 to well over $1000. The photos look pretty much the same but I'm

sure the quality can vary greatly. If you buy a cheap one, best to run it

outside for awhile to off-gas any fumes from the vinyl, adhesives, etc. There

are also wooden units which are over $1000 and not so portable. The brand I

bought was Therasage.

Mine's different. It is a 3 person unit. In the beginning I was so weak, I

could not even sit up in it, so I would lay down on the bench. Drank tons of

water before and during sauna which usually takes about 30 minutes total -

but I get in it at sometimes 100 - so there is some warm up time.

Then take a cold shower, then warm, then lots of minerals and salt/C - I may

even do that during the sauna.

Now I can sit up for part of the time. And the wood is important too.

My eyes have been a problem for years with Lyme...blurry, dry, painful, poor

night vision, sometimes tears well up.  I see an opthamologist nearly every

month.  Artificial tears, non sterile only, as often as I can, helps some.  I

keep them in several rooms of the house and at the computer.  Just started Rx

Restasis and that has been more helpful, but I still use the artificial tears

throughout the day.  Dry eyes are normal for women over 50 (me) and I am being

tested for Sjogren's (which I probably have as I have mutilple autoimmune

diseases and my mother had it).  I know it is Lyme related because the eye pain

increases when other symptoms flare.  I think this is something we have to learn

to live with but get checked often because other problems can develop.  My eyes

also can get very twitchy and that is bothersome for me as well as those looking

at me!  Makes my husband crazy.
