Sheryl,

If this is the same Dr. Klinghart whose writings we previously discussed he

is kind of a controversial guy. I read some stuff that was great where he was

completely understanding all our symptoms and making logical diagnosis, but

then I read some other stuff and some of his theories were a little way out

there, not always scientific.

Hi,

I have a question about a discussion a couple of weeks ago. Several people

mentioned a stomach problem created by taking antibiotics - c diff. What is

c diff, and how did you get it diagnosed? A poop test? What bacteria are

they looking for? I was taking clarithromyacin and have been having really

bad indigestion, so that I have to take Zantac all the time, even though I

have been off of it now for 2 weeks.

Thank you,

Cathleen

Hi,

I've listened to a number of his interviews and although a lot of what he

says is interesting I'm wondering how many of Dr. Klinghart's patients have

successfully brought their Lymes under control. It's seems so hard to find

testimonals about his treatments. Dr. Klinghard's website doesn't have a

contact #. I'd like to call his office to see what I can find out....does

anyone here have his #.

Thanks,

Donna

From what I understand, Dr Klinghardt may be controversial, but he

and I believe other family members also have Lyme, so a lot of his

practice is based on his working to heal his family. Some of the

people on Lymenet have a lot of experience w/him, so you might check

there or check out: www.betterhealthguy.com

Hi,

I just though I would chime in as I saw a Doctor who studied under

Dr. Klinghardt for 4 years. I don't regret anything I did and I can

say that I am not taking any herbs or antibiotics at this time (I

didn't have murcury fillings in my teeth). I currently have a lot of

digestive issues that were not present before so I am on a

carbohydrate specific diet with a carb intake no greater then 50g.

The herbs kill bacteria just like antibiotics, so a lot of your good

bacteria get's destroyed and I assume this is what I am dealing

with...the aftermath. Dr. klinghardt does use antibiotics if a

patient isn't healing. At this point in time I have found homeopathy

combined with a low carb diet w/ tsp of celtic sea salt and vitamin c

to be what I need at this time. If I fall off of my diet I get sick

so Dr. Klinghardt does not have all the answers.

I have been reading these lyme boards for 4 years and I think the

salt and c remedy works for most people combined with a paleo diet.

If it doesn't get you well it can at least keep you functioning. I

also recommend homeopathy, it's cheap in the long run but you have to

find a really experienced practitioner. It's done amazing things for me.

hope this adds some insight,

ashleah
