are other factors involved. Why don't YOU go back to school...

I am embarrassed for you. this is all too common in the medical field, why

some of us mistrust most of them.

I am embarrassed for you that you seem to think everything can cured by a

The list of causes I have read did not mention iodine.

OTOH, some people suggest that about 99.99... percent of human ailments

are caused by lack of sufficient iodine.

Ovarian cancer is more related to the number of children (the number of

pregnanices, really) that you have had, than it is to almost any " other "

factor.

Whether Iodine is involved, or not, I don't know, but having lived through

Ovarian Cancer, Stage IIIC, at diagnosis, with a 10-day prognosis, and

having successfully used alternative cancer therapies -- giving almost FIVE

YEARS of good " life " together, I am a grateful husband that the alternative

therapies were made available to us. My wife passed away, anyway, but not

from Ovarian Cancer. Her death was actually from euthanasis, from the

" benevolent " over-administration of Dilaudid (sp?), by IV, given in

increasing doses until my wife stopped breathing ( A KNOWN, COMMON " side

effect " OF Dilaudid) suffered a stroke, and died within 28 hours from the

effects of the stroke.

A hospital nurse came to my door, under cover of darkness, the next evening,

and said, " That doctor's patients ALL die from ... Dilaudid

over-administration. I know of about 80 so far, with the same cause of

death.

BUT, people, my son was 12 when his Mother was diagnosed WITH terminal

Ovarian Cancer. Her doctor said, " Mrs. Kukulka, I'm sorry to have to tell

you that you have more cancer than any patient I have ever had who HAS

survived. "

From the alternative health treatments we used, none of which were ever

obnoxious or nauseating, she survived until my son was 17 and already

accepted at the best College in South Carolina and almost " ready to go. "

YOU tell me the value of that 5 years of having his Mother in his life,

while he was growing up, through high school, through Varsity Baseball

participation, and through prom time and graduation.

GO AHEAD! Tell me.

Unless she took iodine for her treatment- my post has nothing to do with

your attack on me,

I am so sorry she had to die from this hateful disease and I have nothing

against natural medicine treatments for cancer, but there is no concrete

peer reviewed evidence based evidence that lack of iodine causes ovarian

cysts.

If anything there is more of a connection with the adrenals. But, even that

is tenuous.

compresses using tea bags - Pau D'Arco tea would be best.

My son has a sebaceous cyst near his ear that is not operable because

of proximity to facial nerves. When it was swollen and inflamed I

dabbed on castor oil daily. The cyst shrank down and has dried up to

where it is not very noticeable now.

He has always had the good fats in his diet - coconut and olive oil

and taken cod liver oil. We are gluten-free for the past six years so

we don't eat out, so as to causes I suspect the raw dairy and sugar.

Jeanne,

How long did you have to apply to castor oil for it to shrink?

I think that I only applied it for a week or two. The redness and

swelling went down within that time and then over the past year it has

dried up so that it is not at all " squishy " . The first MD we went to

at that time did the " pick and squeeze " on it. The second and third

doctors (a dermatologist & ear/nose/throat) said that that was exactly

the wrong thing to do and it must be left alone. And they wonder why

we don't trust them, eh?

Cysts are not normal - be it common or uncommon. If they are in fact common it is because we are so low in nutrients in our food and soil. If they are uncommon then there is something to be concerned about. Either way I wouldn't risk it when you can take care of it with the companion nutrients and Iodine. You don't want to risk autoimmune thyroid disease or cancer.

Did they do thyroid labs? Antibodies?

Hi,I took my son to see the endo yesterday. He said his cysts were tiny and that they were not causing his thyroid to enlarge. He told him to have another ultrasound in 6 mo. Now the conflicting part; He says that thyroid cysts are very common and that many people have them and do not know it or notice anything. I went to thyroidcancer.com and THEY say thyroid cysts are very UNCOMMON. Who the heck do I believe. Matt's cysts are about the size of the tip of a pen, very tiny. He IS doing a cortisol test but only the 11pm one with saliva. I don't know what to think or where to turn next. It is VERY difficult to get my son to doctors, he is in his thirties and if he doesn't want to go, won't. I was very lucky to get him to the endo. This is so frustrating. SOOO, can someone here tell me, how common are thryoid cysts????Venizia

Hi ,Yes he did both Tsh, Ft4 (said Ft3 was not necessary) Tgab, Tpo. We will not get the results for two weeks after the cortisol level comes in. I am thinking of taking Matt to see my naturopath who has helped me tremendously and is willing to do all that we talk about here and on the NTH group. Hopefully Matt won't fight me on this and then there is insurance coverage and how much that will pay but that is another story. Thanks for responding Steph.I am relatively new on this group....what nutrients would you recommend besides iodine?VeniziaFrom: ladybugsandbees

> Bee,

> First I want to thank you for all of your help. Your program and advise is

really helping my family. Next, I have a few more questions: Is Tahini okay on

the diet? If butter is made from simply whipping/churning cream then why is

cream not okay? And most importantly, what do you know about cysts? Are they

candida related? Can they be healed naturally? Thank you again for all your

support and knowledge.

+++Hi . You are welcome for the help!

Tahini is okay if you buy raw seeds, unroasted and untoastes, and soak and dry

the seeds first, and grind them yourself.

Butter is only the fat part of the cream, which is separated from the rest of

the cream.

Many candida sufferers have cysts, which are mainly caused by toxins and an

imbalance, or lack of, nutrients and hormones. I had them off and on for years

before I cured my candida, and the program cured them so I haven't had any since

then.

Here's a Success Story by Shelby that says her ovarian cysts are almost gone:

http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/success/ss66a.php

Here's one where the cyst is getting smaller:

http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/success/ss105a.php

I've also known many women who no longer get cysts after being on this program.

So, yes, I believe they can be healed naturally like everything else that isn't

a structural problem.

All the best, Bee
