Guest guest
I did develop neuropathy after high doses of flagyl that persists til today, years later. I still have lyme/babs, but if you are looking for something instead of flagyl, I hear grapefruit seed extract is effective to some degree. Hope that helps, In a message dated 1/8/2011 2:36:18 P.M. I would have the drenching night-time sweats and I did not know anything about co-infections. I just happened to mention the sweats at a meeting of a Lyme support group, and they told me that was babesia. So I started taking the Boneset tea and babesia vanished quickly, maybe a few days or a week. I mean the sweats vanished. Yes boneset tea is available at health food stores in tea bag or loose. good luck, ellen > > > > > > could this be an allergic response? > > > > > > deb > > > > > > p.s. Guest guest
, With your neuropathy, did your feet, esp the bottoms, get numb? This is my primary symptom, although it seems to be creeping upward toward my calfs. I had stopped the Flagyl for 4-5 days and during that time the symptoms kept getting worse. since they were getting worse off the Flagyl I decided it probably wasn't the Flagyl and started back on it. Then for a couple of days my feet started feeling better, but after a couple of days they started feeling worse again. Now I've stopped the Flagyl again and I guess I'll stay off of it longer. I think I'll try making some Boneset tea.
