Guest guest
The End of FearBy Hoffman Our spiritual journey is one of learning, healing, growth and transformation. Through each lifetime we are provided with opportunities to learn about and heal our soul wounds, grow spiritually and transform into higher vibrations of being. That sounds like a good plan while we are contemplating our journey in spirit but once we are within the fear lessons and have to deal with their effects, we are so can get so focused on the fear that we forget about everything else. How do we complete our fear lessons and move on, especially when they are so challenging and affect us in such profound ways? The answer lies in the emotions the fear creates and how they can help it end. All of our fears have an emotional component. In fact, the fear is only the messenger; the actual message is in the emotions that we feel. For example, we may have a strong fear of water, but what we feel when we are around water are the emotions we may have experienced in a past life when we drowned, watched a loved one drown, were in a flood or lost at sea. The emotions could be sadness, regret, anger, hopelessness, helplessness, or the powerlessness that came from the experience of losing our life, a loved one, being stranded, abused, controlled, dominated or abandoned. They key to completing fear is to understand the emotions that it is revealing and use them as the basis of our healing work. The emotional imprint from any trauma stays with us until we understand and release it. And as we know the lessons continue until we do. Our choice lies in whether we will become a victim to the emotions or conquer them. When we can see our fear as a reminder of past trauma and the emotions as what we took with us from the experiences, we know what we came to heal. Then we can complete the fear cycle and release it. Without the connection between the fear and the emotion we are free from the control that this trauma has on our life and no longer need to attract people and situations to remind us of it. Fear and emotions are part of our human experience and what we each feel on an individual level is also experienced in the collective. As we heal our own emotional trauma we allow healing to occur on a much broader level. We can complete our fear cycles in this lifetime and have been given the teachers, knowledge and spiritual understanding to do so. What a blessing we can give to humanity and to the planet with the healing of eons of emotional trauma and the fears associated with them. This is how war, poverty, hunger, discrimination, control, distrust, revenge and abuses of power-all associated with fear--will and heaven on earth can exist for everyone.
