Good Morning Deb,

What is ozonated water supposed to do??

How does it help?

You can buy a little, inexpensive ozone generator on Ebay that you can use to

make your own ozonated water. I had one iv ozone treatment, and it made me herx

a little, but was very expensive ($200). I can't afford to do that on a regular

basis right now.

I know,my doc is encouraging me to do the IV ozone but it is 200 dollars a

treatment here also...i had a person email me that said they did home ozone

treatments, once a month iv treatment and few other things and it really worked

for them. I am going to add baking soda water to the mix also.

Ozone has an extra oxygen atom which makes it unstable. In the body, this extra

atom is used in the process of oxygenation. Per

http://www.lenntech.com/library/ozone/ozone-introduction.htm:

" Ozone is one of the strongest known oxidants. It can be used to technically

burn dissolved compounds (oxidation). The extra oxygen radical in an ozone

molecule quickly binds to each component that comes in contact with ozone

molecules. This is because of the instability of ozone and its inclination to

return to its original form (O2). Both organic and inorganic substances may be

oxidized by ozone (oxidation), but also microorganisms such as viruses, bacteria

and fungi (disinfection). This causes the extra oxygen radical to be released

from the ozone molecule and to bind to other materials, so that only pure and

stable oxygen molecules (O2) are left. "

That's a long drawn out way of saying ozone is antimicrobial.

I'm not sure how effective ozonated water is. I tried the unit from Amazon but

didn't notice much. I have used colloidal silver more reqularly. Its silver

ions are also a natural antimicrobial and there is a lot of information about it

on the internet.

oops, meant oxidation, not oxygenation.

It works against certain groups of microbes (definitely not all of them) and,

depending on concentration, may also be harmful to the body.

Just for the record, ozone is chemically the opposite of anti-oxidants that most

Lymies use. I would at least take these some hours apart, otherwise they will

eliminate each other and you are wasting your money ;)

I wonder why you call silver ions (I assume CS) 'natural'? AFAIK, colloid silver

does not occur in natural systems, nor is it used by lifeforms to battle

infections. But correct me if I'm wrong ...

Btw, most antibiotics are natural products; almost all of them were developed by

organisms, often to fight infections. Nowadays most ABX for human use are

produced in chemical factories, but some are produced by living organisms (e.g.

certain fungi).

I guess I should have said " alternative " antimicrobial, not " natural " , when

referring to colloidal silver.

Regarding the oxidation vs. anti-oxidants, they do balance each other out. Kind

of like swallowing abx along with probiotics.

OK, I just wondered if I missed something ;) I'm always curious where treatments

come from, many alternative (and allopatic!) treatments have a 'natural'

background.

exactly :)

In 12 treatments you will have spent the price of a ozone generator

in an other 1 treatment the price of a push seringe iif some one can show you

how to do a intramuscular or you could do your rectal insufflation or vaginal

if

you are a women

quietly at home .

That is what I do I never regret it .
