Guest guest
This article describes a case of a 72-year-old man who had a painful sensation on the right side of his head, where he usually held his phone. The feeling was described as " bruised " sensation and extended from the forehead to the neck. The nerve conduction tests showed signs of sensory damage in the nerves on the right side of the head, but not on the left side. The authors have identified 40 cell phone users with complaints of pains, aches and/or burning feeling around the ear. They speculate that the radiation emitted by the phones is responsible for nerve damage. However, despite the documented nerve damage, they do not think that the radiation can cause brain tumors. In any case, it is advisable to limit the amount of time you spend on the phone and use an earpiece.
