Guest guest
Judging by the lack of replies, nobody on this thread knows about grinding & encapsulating root herbs. I'll report back on this thread when I find out... On a related note, I had to stop the stephania cepharantha herb entirely because the herx was wayy too strong. I may resume it later after the hangover wears off. In teaspoon doses next time!! Final thought: how do you know when you're " cured " of Lyme? When the herxes stop?? It's possible switching your spirocidal herbs might resume the herx. Phil > > I have been on the core protocol herbs for almost a year now. Last week, I added a new herb to my Buhner arsenal: stephania cepharantha, and I have been experiencing much stronger herx reactions: insomnia, headache, nausea, diarrhea, shakiness. Have any of you tried this herb yet? > > I used this Chinese source: www.tcmtreatment.com, and paid $62 (mostly shipping cost) for 2 kg of the dried root. So far, I have only been drinking the tea, but I plan to grind & encapsulate per the book's recommendation (see the neuroborreliosis subsection). Does anyone have any recommendations as to how to do this? > > Phil >
Guest guest
Have you looked on Planet Thrive to see if a similar question was asked to Buhner? I've seen him answer a question about growing your own Japanese knotweed, drying, grinding, and encapsulating it. If you're unable to find the answer to your question, perhaps you could email him or post on Planet Thrive. Guest guest
Yes I switch herbs constantly. I attach from different angles. Lyme. Outwits the steady applications of herbs over extended time. Switching is great. Lymeover. Guest guest
I accidentally ordered the whole herb, and called the herb shop to ask if I could just grind it up and they said no. That it wasn't a good idea and they'd send me the powder form (and they didn't even charge me)-- so I feel like it was important. Guest guest
Buhner's book recommends grinding this herb. Did the shop explain why it wasn't a good idea? > > I accidentally ordered the whole herb, and called the herb shop to ask if I could just grind it up and they said no.
