Are you anemic? For those who have low iron or actual anemia, Dr. Schaller

suggests considering taking iron if taking Artemisia. He further suggests

that for women with periods lasting over six days per month, consult with

their physicians to address possible estrogen dominance, which is problem

commonly missed. Low progesterone combined with higher estrogen levels

causes poor blood vessel clamping, fibrocystic breasts and fibroids. Do you

think that your mood change might be associated with imbalanced hormones?

Hello ,

My guess would be that the depression is a die-off reaction perhaps

related to gut fungal toxins.

Probably it will pass... But you know yourself best. Anti-depressant

medicines can help a lot.

I once read in a book by a yogi that artemisia, by causing cleansing

energy toward the gut (and toxins out of the body), eventually helps the

clear spiritual energy rise upward as is natural and desirable. Good

luck!

(Another herbalist recommends small drops of oregano oil to help kill

off clostridium bacteria in the mouth and GI tract that is behind a lot

of " weepiness " depression.)

(Milk thistle can help the liver to deal with the detoxing... Cleansing

enemas can help, too, plus epsom salt baths...)

Best regards,

steph

Thanks to everyone who replied.

I have stopped the rizols containing artemisia as it just doesn't seem

right. It could be a major herx but I have been through other big

herxes and they felt kind of different. The effects of the artemisia

are quite odd - I lose some of my visual field and get a funny

headache and get very low/anxious. It could be a different kind of

herx, but I think equally it could be bad reaction to artemisia, which

is a pretty strong medicine I think. Buhner says that people do react

badly to it sometimes.

It's annoying because I know some people find it very effective -

however I think I will have to find another route!

Best wishes
