Hi

I've definitely experienced the muscle tightening in my upper abdomen. I just

was never sure if it was a lyme symptom or a side effect. Visceral manipulation

from a massage therapist helped a lot.

Another wierd symptom I had was a feeling like I kind of wanted to burp but

couldn't. Probably connected to the muscle tightness.

I would slow it down, but go with your instincts.

[ ] Side effects week 2 of protocol

I am starting the Buhner protocol and I just started taking 6 a day of

the 4 core recommended herbs in either capsules and tablets in the

suggested amounts. I am in day 3 of the second week.

I am experiencing diahrea that is not too severe, nausea in the morning,

and muscle tightening in my upper abdomen. I am wondering if this is

good or if I should back off and take it a bit slower?

My intuition tells me to stay with week two until it resolves a little.

Any feedback from others who are more familiar with it is appreciated.

I can relate to the burping feeling and just that something does not feel right

in the digestion. I am becoming much more aware as I research this whole topic

how many things are going on with me that I had no idea were related.

I also get these spasms in my back that will go the whole length of my upper

torso along the outside of my rib cage. They last a few minutes and then they

stop. Sometimes quick spasms in other areas like thighs.

As far as my intake of herbs, I am going to stay with this level until I feel I

can tolerate it and explore some other aspects like my diet, and other things I

can do to help myself feel better.

Thanks
