Guest guest
I have decided not to go to Dr. W., because I didn't like his ideas about the specialists in the Lyme field today. For some reason, he needed to rationalize the basis for his own treatment protocol as " the right way " and theirs as " the wrong way. " I have too much respect for the doctors who developed our standard Lyme protocols to go to someone who thinks their approach is wrong. Anyway, I can get IV Rocephin from another doc. I think I will see Dr. S. in San Francisco, if I can get an appointment! He might not be taking new patients. Janet

Guest guest
No, this doctor is in California on the central coast area. Everyone believes in their treatment modalities. This doctor believes in his. It just didn't ring true for me. As Lyme patients, we have to trust our gut feeling on things when we choose our doctor. I know for me it is not comfortable to have to choose a new doc after being with one I trust for three years. But good things will come of this I'm sure. I assume it helped along with everything else she put me on...I'm almost all better. I can't say specifically it was that, as we've learned we need an entire arsenal to fight this nasty disease.
