Guest guest
http://lib.bioinfo.pl/pmid:1484884 http://toxsci.oxfordjournals.org/cgi/content/full/70/2/245 Just eyeballed?above and other?articles on using cryptolepis as an anticholnergic agent. Specifically they found it to be anti muscarinic...i.e. blocks certain parasympathetic actions at the neuro effector junction. This means it acts like ATROPINE!!! and apparently VERY active for " just an herb " . its vasodilating and adrenergic too!! can be very dangerous for those with dysautonomias, autnomic disfunctions, those on various meds for conditions that either dampen or elevate nervous system and/or cardiovascular functions etc. as always approach with caution, tell your Drs if you try this herb ( or better yet BEFORE you do) and ask a good pharmacist IF you should even combine it with current meds given YOUR health status. Remind the Dr and Pharm. that it is a " antimuscarinic/anticholinergic " agent!! be well Finette ________________________________________________________________________ More new features than ever.
