And with berries, probably anything that destroys mold destroys the berry first, they are fragile .... I check berries visually after purchase, discard the ones that look suspicious, give them a quick rinse and then freeze them. Not much you can do about it. Here too one shouldn't get paranoid, there is toxins in drinking or showering water, in the air, in floors you walk on etc. It is impossible to avoid it. Even 'organic' products have chemical toxins inside, only less and different ones (on average) than then non-organic ones. Organic sometimes just means that the farmers don't yet know how to use pesticides, or don't have the money to buy them... Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
