Guest guest
just a guess... magnesium, sodium, potassium ? Do you take mineral supplements? Connie [ ] After detox Two of the few methods I use for detox are a sauna or detox bath (hydrogen peroxide and epsom salt). After either of these, I receive a lot of relief; however, I also get these aches of depletion and weakness in the muscles and joints. I don't feel like I over did it with these methods but I'm curious to gather thoughts on what the sensation I'm experiencing could be. It feels like my body is lacking something and craving it to be replenished. Any thoughts on what could have been depleted and how to replenish it? Guest guest
I wanted to read Connie's answer before i responded. And I agree. I have added more minerals especially the mag since detoxing more lately. And I feel the same after saunas or baths. The heat is one element as it opens up blood vessels and can make one feel lightheaded. Which is the whole point - gettin oxygen to all those hard to reach places where bugs might hide. Then the heat element can kill a few pests. After a good sweat, I scrub like crazy with a scubby thing then I have a salt scrubber that has moistuizer. I heard you wanted to make sure if you're pushing out toxins in sweat that you get them all off. So a big glass of water with salt and that fizzy mag powder helps me not feel so weak and depleted when I'm done - then I go to bed...:-) _____ From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of Connie Blaze Sent: Friday, March 18, 2011 10:20 AM Subject: Re: [ ] After detox just a guess... magnesium, sodium, potassium ? I don't take mineral supplements or magnesium so I'll give these a try. > > So a big glass of water with salt and that fizzy mag powder helps me not > feel so weak and depleted when I'm done - then I go to bed...:-) > > > > just a guess... magnesium, sodium, potassium ? > Do you take mineral supplements? > > Connie >

Any thoughts on what could have been depleted and how to replenish it? are you drinking enough water before taking the bath? otherwise my guess would be Mg/Ca as others mentioned.
