Guest guest
Hi Teri, yes I could not agree more! Yes they really are, coming from a guy telling me to rub tiger balm on my stomach, when it turned out to be an inflamed stomach, with red slashes all over therefore not external, but internal. I don't really listen to them anymore they have such bad advice and always say different things.I thought that it was a great article too!Hugs,nyOn Jan 21, 2011, at 5:14 PM, Theresa Gottlieb wrote: NO to extra strength Tylenol ny... that's a definite no no... Guest guest
I could not agree more!! I wish I knew how to make that happen, I think that they are dangerous. The doctor I saw was so bad she could not answer very general questions about Hep C, but she treats it, makes me wonder! She was the one that told me about the stages and grades of HCV, did you find out anything about that? I remember seeing my Liver Biopsy said stage 4 compensated cirrhosis. That doc said this means the liver is heavily scared but still functioning normal. Lucky for me I know how to use the net, I feel for the people going to the Liver Center who can't find out info on their own.On Jan 21, 2011, at 6:53 PM, Theresa Gottlieb wrote: that place is bad news all around. they need to be shut down. Guest guest
Well, one thing for sure ny. Now you know that it is 4 stages of "liver disease". So whoever told you that other garbage was totally wrong. However, it is also a very clear warning that the damage has to stop!! Yet, I know a fella that lives around where I do and he had been in "End Stage Liver Disease" for 10 years when we interacted. As we all know, a person with any liver damage can not drink alcohol. To do so is like writing your epitaph.Gloria Hi Teri, thanks!I was told there are 4 stages of Hep C, I forgot what they said about stage 1 and 2, but stage 3 was fibrous and stage 4 was cirrhosis. Guest guest
Really helpful article about the dangers of Tylenol and the NSAIDs. Especially helpful is the list of supplements you can take to protect yourself if you must take these. - http://www.healthexpertadvice.org/forum/Alternative-Medicine/What-happens-if-i-take-4-tylenol-pills-11633.htm --- In , Gloria <gadamscan@...> wrote:>> And none of us wants to go "decompensated",that means you are in a lot of > trouble.> >

Guest guest
, Now that you know your liver is cirhotic you will ne to have CTs, MRI's or ultrasounds every 6 months to check for liver cancer. You will want to rotate between those 3 procedures because you don't want to do CT's every time because of the high radiation much more radiation that a simple xray, and you don't want that to build up in your system. Guest guest
, It will never go back 1 stage or any stage. The damage has been done. You just have to do things to keep it from progressing. I know you hate to hear it, but eating right is a major thing you can do to help with that. Try to restrict your salt intake, and processed foods are super bad in the sodium dept. Guest guest
yeah stopping smoking is a tough one, but I think that I should as it extra stuff the liver has to do deal with, but is not good for the liver, toxins. On Jan 23, 2011, at 9:40 AM, Theresa Gottlieb wrote: Oh ny, this is the pot calling the kettle black but yeah you probably should quit smoking too. Its just more toxins that your liver is struggling to clear. That's a rough one too.. Might want to see if you can try the patches.. they work. To do so is like writing your epitaph. Gloria Hi Teri, thanks!I was told there are 4 stages of Hep C, I forgot what they said about stage 1 and 2, but stage 3 was fibrous and stage 4 was cirrhosis. I am hoping I just stay where I am at, or go backwards I hope the liver does not get worse. Hugs,nyOn Jan 22, 2011, at 3:47 PM, Theresa Gottlieb wrote: Actually I did ask about that when I was in MD the other day... there are 4 stages of Liver Disease... there are not 4 stages of Hep C. If your biopsy is stating Stage 4 compensated you would be in the early part of stage 4 or the end part of stage 3. At some point in stage 4 you can go from compensated to decompensated. Yes they really are, coming from a guy telling me to rub tiger balm on my stomach, when it turned out to be an inflamed stomach, with red slashes all over therefore not external, but internal. I don't really listen to them anymore they have such bad advice and always say different things. Guest guest
I think I have swine flu and the symptom that is really bothering me at the moment is my skin feels really sore especially on my back. I've heard that flu can do this to your skin. I'm on the Buhner core protocol and wanted to know if I can take acetaminophen? Does anyone know - thanks! Guest guest
I have sores or lesions on my back and the skin on my back feels very sore, sometimes burning. I thought it was Bartonella which I have. Sometimes a warm...not hot..since hot aggravates Bartonella, bath w cup of baking soda releaves for awhile and also turns down the inflamation.
