Guest guest
I found an answer to my question: Diet # Look to the diet. Consume a lot of high iron cereals, leafy vegetables, red meat / beef, cashews, almonds, beans, liver, walnuts, clams, salmon, rasins, shrimp, tofu, or spinach? Excessive iron as a part of one's diet can lead to the excretion of black stool. Just because an individual has eaten a lot of foods with iron doesn't mean that it's safe to rule out the possibility of a physiological problem. It can be a lot of bad things, but since it coincides with changing my diet, I'm choosing this (benign) cause. ellen > Heidi, > you mention stools, and I've noticed in the last week since I've been > treating my liver exhaustion and/or liver, my stools are unusually > dark. almost black.
