Guest guest
http://www.susunweed.com/herbal_ezine/May04/healingwise.htm Hope this helps. Being gluten sensitive I am using 80 proof potato vodkas instead of 100 grain... not sure it matters for everyone though and in the past could tolerate some well distilled grain vodkas but not all.. > > Does anyone know hot to tincture knotweed and cat's claw? what's the recipe? > > Thank you:) > L >

Guest guest
Hi, L. The way I do my tinctures is for dried herbs I do 1:5, which is 1 part dry herb to 5 parts 50% alcohol. To get 50%, you can buy grain alcohol, which is almost 100% and dilute half and half with water to get 50% or you can just buy 100 proof vodka which is already 50% alcohol. So 1:5 would be 1 oz. of herb to 5 liquid oz. of 50% alcohol. If you want to double it that would be 2 oz. herb to 10oz. of alcohol. Pour into a jar just big enough to hold everything so you don't have tons of airspace at the top, put the lid on and keep in a dark cabinet for 6 wks. Shake everyday for 1 week. Be sure to poke down the herbs so it stays covered with alcohol. Strain after 6 weeks and bottle. Use Buhner's protocol for dosage. Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions. > > Does anyone know hot to tincture knotweed and cat's claw? what's the recipe? > > Thank you:) > L >
Guest guest
cool! im going to try the mother wort, red root are on my list of to try. got the cats claw in capsules and may tincture it or get fresher herbs - saw it has magnesium sterate as a filler and trying to avoid those, read they can feed the spirochetes or biofilms this week i had clove, black walnut, and star anise together, sort of like a homemade absynthe minus a few herbs. a little stevia intead of sugar for the green fairy and drink about half a shot in water with food a couple times a week. > > > > > > Does anyone know hot to tincture knotweed and cat's claw? what's the recipe? > > > > > > Thank you:) > > > L > > > > > >
