Hi,

Depending on how long you have had Lyme, there could be several

reasons causing abnormal reaction to normal stimuli...

1. Lyme causes our immune system to create inflammation I believe

is the major cause. But, could be imbalances in amino acids, other

sups or even Adrenal or Thyroid issues .. its not like lyme doesnt

interfer with Everything. Could be hormonal imbalances as well.

2. I was dx'd in 2000, had it since I was a child with mild systems

until my late 30's at which point it took over .. no real lyme docs

around to treat " symptoms " of Lyme, that need treating more or as

much as trying to kill lyme via antibiotics etc. I still take

apam and Vistaril to this day, apam is quick acting when

placed under the tounge, Vistaril will dampen your histimine levels,

and anyone with Lyme has High Histimine levels, its also been what I

knew was a nervine .. dampens the nervous system. Makes you sleepy

at first wk or so then, not. There are alternative natural things,

like Kava etc.. but dont work that fast. And as bad and as many

symptoms as I have Im like Not worried about becoming addicted to

apam or Vistaril (though Vistaril is not looked at like

apam/Valium) .. I found ways to not be on major pain killers,

Thank God !! All I need is to be a space case on major drugs Too !!

Any doc that knows Lyme will have NO problem with prescribing

either of these !! If they do, they dont understand Lyme !!

Hope this helps a bit .. keep being proactive, finding Knowledgable

doc's .. and staying as pos as possible, meditation helps too .. not

a religion, its letting your mind relax and focus in peace and love,

youd be suprised at how effective it is..
