The colon can hold over a gallon with no problem. The main problem is retaining it, no matter how much fluid you use. One of my books recommends using just one cup and holding it for 45 minutes or so. So it is really up to the comfort level of the individual. I too found that for the first two cleanses I used half of the solution then reapplied for a second dose. Once the initial blockage was gone though, I had no problem holding the entire two quarts. Guest guest
Do you take the whole 2 quarts in one session??? Most people won't be able to handle that, certainly not at the start. I find that two cups is plenty, and even then, can be hard to hold for that long. If I can't hold it, I empty my bowels, wait a bit, and then start again with another two cups of coffee. I can usually hold that for the minimum 12 minutes, preferably 15, that is needed to stimulate the liver. ----- Original Message ----- From: hspl28@... candidiasis Thank you! Gently insert solution, and lie on your back massaging your stomach. Switch to side and massage each side. (the more you massage, the more that comes loose) Attempt to retain for 15 minutes, if you can. IF not as long as you can hold it. Follow up with a clean warm water enema, or lemon juice enema, to get all the coffee out if you want. Just remember organic coffee only! Guest guest
I was squeemish about the enema thing but yesterday I tried a " cleansing enema " which I discovered in a book called " Prescription for Nutritional Healing " . It recommended not doing the coffee enema until after doing the cleansing version which is 2 quarts of distilled water with the juice of 3 lemons. I did not find it painful, just very odd feeling. I can't say I feel better today, but I will say that it wasn't many, many trips to the bathroom the rest of the day like I expected and I wasn't uncomfortable or anything afterward either. And that's more that I can say for the capsule forms of colon cleansing. I tried taking the 4 capsules that was recommended on the particular brand I tried and boy, when it hit, it hit and I was left feeling very drained for hours afterward, sort of like when you have a stomach bug. So overall, I would say the enema was the way to go.

They are a primary component of of the Gerson Therapy for cancer and other degenerative diseases. In the early days of developing his therapy Max Gerson found that his cancer patients were dying from (hepatic) liver coma as the tumours began to breakdown on his high fresh juicing detoxification regime. By introducing the coffee enemas he found that they helped to detoxify the liver and the patients survived. _________________________________________________________________ Get dial-up Internet access now with our best offer: 6 months @$9.95/month! http://join.msn.com/?page=dept/dialup

Guest guest
Dear Jeanne, I'm so glad to hear you are doing the coffee enemas. I think they are such a big help. Some of your symptoms are very " flu-like " which is candida being killed off. A runny nose, sore throat, large bm and diarrhea are more like getting rid of toxins. Both mean you have made a big gain. Good for you. How are you reacting to coconut oil? What are your symptoms? What is a Z-pac? I don't know whether you are moving gall stones, but the coffee enemas are creating changes and spurring more healing. If it works go for it. I got very bad pains I thought was my liver, but I may be mistaken. How do you know it is your gall bladder? Bee
Guest guest
Hey Bee A Z-pack is a 3 dose antibiotic that is supposed to last for 10 days. It replaces the 5 dose one. (like 5 doses wasn't quick enough). I haven't taken any antibiotics for awhile but I think I usually have constipation or stomach problems during or after the course. since the 10 day period would be up now maybe that is aggravating it. When I went in to the doctor for my sinus issue he also checked out my stomach area and it was really sore and tender right by my waist line. I had been having a lot of indigestion and belching. The pain was all on the right side and covered my whole stomach area from waist to pubic area. This was prior to me taking any antibiotics (but 3 weeks earlier I had been on a short course of prednisone). After doing the coffee enema that night I felt and heard something happening down there and than I had these 2 quick painful contractions and than after that day the pain and soreness was really reduced. Right now I still feel it right by my waist and I have major gas, bloating, and indigestion. Maybe it is the candida? Usually candida affects everything else for me but I don't get a huge amount of stomach distress like I have right now. I feel like I have to go to the bathroom all the time and than when I do urinate it isn't much at times. When I go back into the doctor October 1st he said he would look at it again. I don't know if I can wait that long. I am planning on doing another enema tonite and have been taking probiotics twice a day too. As far as the coconut oil. When I took some last night (Tablespoon) after a certain point I could feel a contraction in that area of my waist line. I know people that have had gall bladder problems and they have had major pain and couldn't tolerate greasy or fatty foods at all. I don't know what it is but I do know something isn't right. Any advice? Jeanne -------------- Original message -------------- Dear Jeanne, I'm so glad to hear you are doing the coffee enemas. I think they are such a big help. Guest guest
When I started adding more fat back to might diet I was extremely worrieds that I would have a gall bladder problem and started having little problems. So I use a product called Systemic Enzymes. I take 1/4 to 1/2 cup of coconut oil with some kind of acid drink, pineapple juice, orange, etc blend it up with my hand held blender(boat motor as Emeril Lagasse calls it) and about 20 capsules before bed. No problem , the enzymes aid to the digestion . Also if I find my gallbladder hot, I take a large medicimal dose and the gallbladder begins to function well. Hope this helps C Re: [ ] Re: coffee enemas Hey Bee A Z-pack is a 3 dose antibiotic that is supposed to last for 10 days. It replaces the 5 dose one. (like 5 doses wasn't quick enough). Guest guest
when I was at my chiropractors today I had him feel around and where it really was sore and tender was where he said my intestines were. He said this area is you intestines and your appendix. Maybe I am wrong and it is candida kicking up there. Someone else suggested enzymes. I can't handle fruit of any kind. Can you take the enzymes with water? Jeanne --------- Re: [ ] Re: coffee enemas Hey Bee A Z-pack is a 3 dose antibiotic that is supposed to last for 10 days. It replaces the 5 dose one. Guest guest
You remind me. Can one overdo the enemas so that it makes the colon lazy resulting in constipation? Phil Re: [ ] Coffee enemas Hi Phil, I've been doing coffee e's for quite a number of years when I developed environmental allergies. I know they date back to at least the 1930's, probably further. I learned mine from Sherry MD in her book Wellness Against All Odds. If I remember correctly, she says 1 tablespoon per cup max. I started out way below that at first. Eventually my the body developed a tolerance and I didn't receive near the same results. I think the dosage just has to do with how your body responds. I ended up adding a particular herb that ended up potentiating the solution and gives me the original results. I would assume increasing circulation would have something to do with body temperature. According to my doctor, even people who have low body temperature still have a core temperature of around 98.6. So increasing circulation seem to make sense But I don't really know more than that. Guest guest
Hi Bee, I was just interested in why the coffee needs to be boiled, curious if there's something it getst out if boiled. I can remember things I need to do better if I understand why. I used to see a homeopath that said to just make it like regular coffee, even the same strengh as regular coffee. When I'm clear, no problem. When I'm spaced out in the middle of die-off I have a tendency to do things the way I used to know, I have to remind myself to get used to a new way. Guest guest
Yes, the royal flush does work. It has to be done with organic beans without any other process than cooking of the beans. Read all about it on Curezone.com and http://www.optimalhealthnetwork.com/ and http://altmedicine.about.com/cs/dietarytherapy/a/EnemasColonics.htm . Good luck. Liver flushes help too. coffee enemas I have been reading up on some of the sites recommended by the group. I just read the site about detoxifying by using a coffee enema. iam wondering if any one here has tried it and if it seemed to help. I am also wondering about not having a gall bladder, mine was removed about 8 years ago.

I was a little shaky afterwards but I think it is because I was so scared. ==>Most people experience some changes. I immediately felt rejuvenated and renewed after my first one, but that doesn't mean you will feel that way. Some people get sick feelings because of all the toxins being dumped. I think you shouldn't try to retain the enema, and also ensure you are cleaning out the bowel first with plain water. Try doing the antifungal and probiotic enemas and then 4-5 days later try the coffee enema again. Bee

I have used all of the above. We used to use a filter attached to the kitchen faucet but with remodeling it comes and goes. I have boiled water and bought distilled and they all seem to work excellent. I had a major, thought I was going to die healing reaction within 24 hours of mt first enema. I was at work in a somewhat remote place and to the outside observer I probably looked like a drug addict in need of a fix. I have NEVER had an experience like it and have had 2 since, (and always after a coffee enema) and you know you are on the right track when you are done though it is a little difficult to understand while going through it the first time. I'm not saying the experience will be the same for you and i'm also not trying to talk you out of it. In the quest for excellent health I encourage all to get outside the comfort zone and comfort foods and follow Bee's advise and go for it. It is scary for many but good health requires it I believe. Saunas and niacin have also contributed to healing reactions. I do believe you have talked me into one tomorrow morning, thanks. Guest guest
Hi Bee, When we lived in Federal Way Washington the water was so over-chlorinated that I had to let the water set for a *week* to get rid of the chlorine smell in it. I found less of a smell if I used the hot tap water but it still had to set to get rid of it. Little helps I found were to let it sit in full sun or over a strong magnet or put in a few drops/gallon of the 35% peroxide to " boil " it out. I would just keep sniffing the water every day until I could no longer detect the smell of it. Happily we moved to a place with our own spring well water before I found you. My tap-water actually made me feel better at that time. Wow, that is amazing what you had to go through to get rid of the chlorine, and it's good that you knew enough to handle it properly. You are one very smart lady Nan! You are one of those people who " has had " to persevere through so much in order to get healthy, and I commend you!! Guest guest
Sorry...I meant to say one coffee enema a week for the past 5 weeks. Hi Bee, I've been doing coffee enemas once a for the last 5 weeks. I never did them 3-5 days prior because I really only have time to do them once a week being they are quite the process. My question is how long should I continue to do these once a week? I was thinking for 4 months and then cut back to once every couple weeks for 2 months and then once a month after that. Is this too much though? Thanks for your input! Have a great day!

It is quite okay to do enemas once a week instead of every 4-5 days. -After 2 months do enemas every 2 weeks. -After 3 months do enemas once a month, stopping altogether after 6 months, unless you slip on the diet and find you need them again. In future you may want to do a coffee enema once a year. You have a great day too . Bee
