Forgive me if this is a duplicate post. After I'd written the post, my

account kicked me out and I'm not sure if my original post will show up.

I'm new to the boards but have been reading and learning a lot over the past few

weeks.

I was diagnosed with Borrelia by and LLMD in September of last year and have

been on antibiotics ever since. At the moment, I am taking Doxy (my third

antibiotic, but most useful thus far) and am slowly adding the Buhner herbs. I

am currently taking Cat's Claw, Japanese Knotweed and Smilax.

As I stated above, I have seen quite a bit of improvement since being on the

Doxy. The one symptom that is not improving quite as much is costochondritis/rib

pain/lyme arthritis in the shoulder girdle. I am now wondering if this may be a

symptom of a co-infection.

I do have trouble getting a deep breath, and have read that this may be a

symptom of Babesia.

The next protocol I'm meant to follow is Flagyl, then a cocktail of antibiotics

meant to address possible Babesia. It includes Quinine, Clindomyacin, Plaquenil

and Biaxin. I am not particularly interested in this combination, as I have had

trouble with all the antibiotics except, strangely, Doxy.

Has anyone transitioned from ABX to Buhner's herbal protocol with much success?

How long did it take you to make the switch?

As for Babesia, what are the best treatments out there?

Any feedback is much appreciated.
