Guest guest
I know many of Dr. 's patients use Samento and have heard several praises for it. Some get scared about it b/c of synthetic quinolone abx which have caused tendon damage, but it remains unproven whether or not Samento can cause the same damage. I know I'd certainly trust taking Samento over a synthetic quinolone any day. In a message dated 10/7/2004 7:53:30 PM Eastern Daylight Time, writes: Hello, I did a search in the archives for Samento, but came up with " no results. " I recall something about Samento diaries in regard to reports on how people were doing by using this herb. I was wondering if someone could direct me to the web site to see the results of people using this product. Or, if anyone is using Samento now, I would appreciate any feedback. I understand it is an immune modulator that is useful for Myalgic Encephalomyelitis.
Guest guest
HI, Yes, I am using the Cat's Claw Complex by Medi-Herb, Standard Process from Austraila. I got it through my doctor, chiropractor. It is only sold thru distributors. I took one pill a day got a hell of a herx......now taking it MWF on docs advice. The bottle says you can take up to 4, he said it is too much for my immune system. It seems to be helping. I am finally feeling better. The one I take has each batch tested before it becomes a pill and thten the pills are tested. I feel comfortable taking it. Guest guest
eric, I use Samento from Nutrimedix. You can read about the studies and the comparisons of drops versus capsules as the Nutrimedix website. They sell iy on the website, but I get it from my MD. The literature says that the liquid drops are much stronger. I love the stuff. Cactus > > HI, > > Yes, I am using the Cat's Claw Complex by Medi-Herb, > > Standard Process from > > Austraila. Guest guest
Hi , There are several species of Cat's Claw. Only the specific species that is TOA-free will work with Lyme. The Samento brand is TOA- free. You should go to the Samento and read the section on the samento protocol and also the pilot studies done by Dr. Romero. It can be used either in capsule form or in liquid form. The capsule form is pretty expensive, but the liquid form is relatively inexpensive. A one once bottle can be bought for $40. (that is at least the last time I bought it) and it will last for about 3 months. You should start out with one drop in about 4 ounces of water and see if you have a strong HERX. If not keep increasing your daily dosage by one drop up to 6 drops per day. You only need to take it once a day. This can be very powerful in it's effect on Lyme so be careful! When you put in the drops wait about 3 or 4 minutes before drinking. I don't believe it really makes much difference but my health care professional recommends sipping the prepared drink. I usually take about 3 or 4 drinks to finish off the 4 ounces. It does not need to be an exact measurement of the water. The TOA free cc can be obtained from _www.Nutricology.com_ (http://www.Nutricology.com) . Nutricology is the same company as Allergy Research Group, but only health professionals can buy direct from Allergy Research Group. Nutricology will sell direct to anyone with the money. Remember that only 6 drops are required of the Cat's Claw per day. More is totally unnecessary. I have heard of some doctors recommending 21 drops per day. Not necessary. Remember that this is very powerful in it's effect on Lyme patients. Depending on a persons degree of bacteria level it can cause so powerful a HERX that you may feel you cannot take it even with the one drop. Good luck and if you should need further information let me know! Sidney G. North Brunswick, NJ ,

Just to let you all know... it is still $40 since I sold the bottle to Sidney. The capsules are not as effective at all... the liquid is alot less $$ and alot better. The key is to detox the body, cleanse, nourish and rebuild.. THEN take Samento. Blessings- sue massie, CNHP 732 933-4011

These things also work over time, as in lots since our kids are full of lots. So give it some time, and follow your plan. It looks wonderful. I think you will find all kinds of good things will happen. We have been on Samento and Cumanda a couple of months, and many symptoms have left and are continuing to leave. Heidi N Hi All, I am a new member to the group. My 11 yr old son regressen into autism after his 12 month vaccines. We have been on the biomed journey for 9 yrs.We have been chelating for over 6 yrs. We tested him thru IGENEX last year and he had bands 41, 45 and 58 positive. Bands 31 and 39 were indeterminate. We just started treating him with SAMENTO from Nutrimedix. We quickly worked up to 60 drops per day and just added Cumanda at 30 drops per day. We gave burbur a few times when he got grouchy and things got better quickly. We plan to keep the SAMENTO on board and rotate the cumanda with quina every two weeks. I also ordered Carnivora to add to the mix. We have had a very definite noticeable increase in language and thinking the pst week. Of course, we are thrilled. I am trying to figure out a good protocol and any tips would be reatly appreciated. I am in the proces of ordering books to gather info. If you respond to the Samento and othe nutrimedix products should you also try the VIT C/ Salt protocol. I do realize this will be a long process. We ar also going to continue our weekly IV chelation. Thanks! **************Psssst...Have you heard the news? There's a new fashion blog, plus the latest fall trends and hair styles at StyleList.com. We're at that upper dosage now and have herxed quite a bit but feel we need more. How or why did you determine to go as high as 60 drops? Thanks Barb [ ] Re:Samento : Your plan sounds fabulous. There is a lot of hype regarding Samento, especially after the recent, widely publicised, article from Eva Sapi about 'killing' Borrelia and Bb cysts with Samento + Banderol. IMHO it is a lot of hype, and the producer Nutramedix is a company that is a bit too eager in organising this kind of publicity. Samento is not better than catsclaw bark or powder(in fact Buhner thinks it may be a bit less effective for Lyme treatment), just more convenient. It is also way more expensive (like 10-50x for the same effective dose).
