Guest guest
Sorry you had ulcers and had to take meds for so long! That seems really long to me. Have you ever thought about doing meditation? Really helps me with mental health issues. I have the rubbish immune system too, but thoughts affect our mental health, so the meditation can help break the cycle a bit. Sending you lots of love.PS - it is very windy and rainy today. You live in Scotland so it is probably like that a lot already. California had the warmest and driest winter and December in recorded history. We need the rain. Guest guest
Hi CYes, I've read a lot of Edgar Cayce and have done the castor oil on flannel. It is very helpful. I have digestive issues a lot and it really helps with that! Good that you have done meditating as it does help. We go to a group and have done so for 6 years now... I am still not good at meditating but I try. Some days better than others. My daughter in law had severe endometriosis and finally had a hysterectomy. She suffered a lot for years and never could have kids, now 50 years old and past child bearing anyway. Guest guest
I just follow the breath. Also have read and listened a lot to Eckart Tolle... also others like Goldsmith. Goldsmith has an excellent book on Meditation. I did not do any meditating during the infestation. I was just too busy cleaning and we totally isolated so didn't go to our group. I have learned that even a short meditation of a minute is better than none at all and can calm me down and stop obsessive thinking. You can do it while waiting in line or at a red light in the car. You don't have to have a particular religion to meditate and it isn't just for those that follow eastern thought or belief, which I do. My brother is an atheist and wants to start meditating. It would be so good for him (me, anyone). Let your friend know kindly that judging you about meditating is not helping you. None of us need that kind of nagging. When you get back to it, you do, and not before!! Guest guest
If you could find a few moments to at least quiet yourself in the midst of things... just go to the place where thought no longer exists, just the observer. That is my practice. So sorry that he does not understand -- perhaps in time he will. There are times when it is nearly impossible to meditate and at those time pray. I think both are essential for me. Also reading spiritual books help a lot. Guest guest
C-I would hold off on the astragalus root for now, it is contraindicated in chronic Lyme- see Harod Buhner's book Healing Lyme- can't remember the website. It overactivates the immune system which is already messed up with chronic Lyme. Part of s Herxheimer is often a worsening of gut issues. When you start antimicrobials(ie Samento) it stirs up the bugs and they release more biotoxins and the biotoxins from the dieing bugs can be intense- all symptoms may worsen and new symptoms will appear. But it does pass.AandrayaOn Jan 21, 2012, at 8:05 AM, Sad Girl <wherearetheangels@...> wrote: Could samento be causing my stomach pain? Guest guest
Yes, samento is known to be active against Lyme. Banderol is often used with it. Cryptolepis is another good one for babesia and bartonella. You need combinations of antimicrobials to erradicate the Lyme infections.Aandraya On Jan 22, 2012, at 4:52 PM, Sad Girl <wherearetheangels@...> wrote: Thanks aandraya Yes stopped astragalus n echinacea Just taking samento Ten drops twice a day Had start slipery elm tablets to help pain in tum Legs v itchy today More of the white things again N bites feet!! Guest guest
Yes, you should take the banderol and samento together. Do you have artemisia annua(artemisinin)? Biopure in Europe has a very good product. This herb is exceptional- treats babesia with Lyme and many kinds of parasites that coexist with Lyme. Start slow on it- 200mg 2 x a day and work up to 800-1200 a day. Many herx on this herb. I did a lot. >> >Aandraya >> > >> > >> > >> >On Jan 23, 2012, at 3:35 AM, Sad Girl <wherearetheangels@...> wrote: >> > >> > >> > Thanks Aa >> > Not sure can purchase cryptolepsis here >> > But can get banderol >> > Not sure whether to get that next >> > Or stay on samento >> > Prob take both same time? >> > But phew this problem takes all our resources! >> > Waiting dermatology apointment >> > But dont think she will help >> > Was desperate when went doctor >> > I get small swollen bit of red skin after each bite >> > But thats all >> > They have no proof other than if im bitten at the time apointment >> > Other than that they wont see anything >> > >> > Doc had said to me first step dermatology n if she not c anythin psychiatry!!! >> > Well wanted derma but psychiatry never gona hapen in a million years >> > Doc turned up at my flat last week cos concerned >> > Askin questions writin down answers >> > I was anoyed, felt analysed as if under a bell jar, upset n disbelieved!!! >> > But they cannot do anything as she saw im takin care o myself >> > She checkin cos she no sure if im delusional parasitosis or not >> > Its horrid how we are not believed or helped >> > Cos she cant c my symptoms she wont give lyme test or send infectious diseases clinic >> > Tho u are all telling me im not infectious >> > But it still scares me a bit >> > Tho not as much as before >> > What a shitty time we all have wi this >> > N it goes,on n on n on >> > But one day it must go >> > Has to so we can breathe n live again! >> > C x >> > >> > ------------------------------ >> > On Sun, Jan 22, 2012 22:27 PST Aandraya wrote: >> > >> > >Yes, samento is known to be active against Lyme. When you start antimicrobials(ie Samento) it stirs up the bugs and they release more biotoxins and the biotoxins from the dieing bugs can be intense- all symptoms may worsen and new symptoms will appear.
