Guest guest
Ive been borderline and being watched for it for about 3 years now ( diagnosed with Lyme 1990). that being said I recently saw an article stating that Lyme MAY increase floaters and debris which can clog the ducts leading to a pseudo glaucoma BUT no clue as to how to fix that or if it will resolve as the Lyme resolves I know for me when Im in remission the glaucoma /eye pressure levels seem to be lower by 1-3 points and when flaring theyre higher--I think inflammation may also play a role--but thats my own hunch some articles re Lyme and the eye: http://www.uic.edu/com/eye/LearningAboutVision/EyeFacts/LymeDisease.shtml http://books.google.com/books?hl=en & lr= & id=dxoFW2_1kycC & oi=fnd & pg=PA147 & dq=lyme+\ +glaucoma & ots=-zAiGXPMVs & sig=VkUROwv3z-VQ8s4U6T13IGswFUM This book states glaucoma is or can be associarted with a lot of things including Lyme use google scholar and type in " Lyme glaucoma " and see all the mentions!! sorry I dont have more detalied info like if it goes away and the mechanism for occurrence.
