Nerve Pain Relief & Weird Pattern

Hi everyone,

I'm new to the Buhner protocol, just ordered the book today. Am eagerly awaiting

it. In the meantime, I've been on the Lee Cowden protocol since 2007. I've made

some good progress addressing the underlying physical, emotional and spiritual

issues but have had a severe flare of symptoms since last November.

Right now my main symptoms are neurological. They are:

-Hot, burning skin sensations all over

-Nerve pain, paresthesias and itching

-Sore tendons and joints

-Sleepy sensations

-Sore soles, especially in a.m.

-Headaches

-Jaw pain

-Profound anxiety

I've noticed a VERY strange pattern. I have deep, dull all-over body pains and

stiffness that escalate throughout the day. Meanwhile, I have vague anxiety that

builds throughout the day to the point where I feel like I'm going to have a

nervous breakdown. Thoughts like " I must be dying " , " there is no way out of

this " , " I just want to leave this world " , etc. Finally the emotional symptoms

erupt and I usually start crying deep, uncontrolled, racking sobs that feel like

they are pouring/melting deep out of my heart. Once this happens, the body pains

turn to all-over sharp, burning nerve pains. The pain is horrible, but the body

now feels deeply relaxed and at peace, like a " wet noodle. " The emotional

symptoms are also that of relief, peace, even joy; a complete 180 degrees from

the dark thoughts earlier in the day. Luckily I've noted this pattern and can

talk myself through the tougher emotions.

From what I've read, this sounds like Bartonella, but who knows. Here are my

questions:

1. Any non-Rx suggestions for nerve pain? Does Buhner's protocol help this?

2. Has anyone experienced a pattern of symptoms like this, with the emotional

release?
