The Equinox

My mortally wounded transparent shadowdrags itself behind me.Such a mimicing reminderof how the sun shinesfor all but me.Brightly illuminated figureson passing streetsstrutting like peacocksor walking right through me,and I don't understand.I just don't understand.No.

The mind trapped in a long ago love(or so I thought)like a fly in a spider's web.Struggling. Struggling,then finially giving up.Accepting and becoming death.Oh the parallelof what I myself have become.Your memory is all I am.It's boundries inescapable,and I don't understand.I just don't understand.No.

A bliss filled second somewhere in eternitytook me with it,never to return. The second we shared as one.My breath to this dayexhales your name.My touch, my senses; finding yoursand the equinox there, knows still only you...remembering in detail.Your fragrance, your taste, your essence-seared into my lipslike a moth subdued by a flame. Now I am a mere puppet, who's empty existanceof don't give a damn movementsare being controlled by the stringsof what once was, long ago,and I don't understand.I just don't understand.No.
