A message to all members of Humanity Healing Network

The Elaine Chapin Memorial Scholarship Fund

Named in honor of Elaine Chapin, this scholarship will provide funds to support the post-secondary education of a student(s) impacted by multiple sclerosis, either directly or as a family member.

The scholarship fund will accept applications from January 1st through May 31st. The number of awards and amounts to be determined on the merits of the applications received. The scholarship fund expects to award $3300 annually to deserving student(s). Proof of registration will be required before the scholarship fund makes a payment to the school(s).

Recipients will be chosen on the basis of financial need, academic standing and the impact with which multiple sclerosis has affected their lives. Applicants must be citizens of the United States who plan to enroll or are enrolled in an undergraduate course of study at an accredited two or four year college, university or vocational/technical school located in the United States. Applicants must be enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester in course work leading to a degree, license or certificate.

There is no application fee to apply for this scholarship, however a gesture of a small donation with your application is certainly appreciated. Whether or not a donation is made will have no bearing on determining which student(s) receives consideration for the award(s). Checks should be made out to " Elaine Chapin Scholarship Fund " .
