There are some other Chinese herbs with proven QS blocking action, but most herbs have never been tested for this, so there will certainly be more. This research is very recent, mostly from the last few years. There are now testchips that can quickly test large numbers of chemicals for QS action, so I think we will know a lot more in 1-2 years. > > Another good QS blocker is garlick. > > For those interested in QS and Borrelia, check my Dutch article 'Antibiotica en Esperanto' (PDF file, +/- 1 MB): > http://www.lymevereniging.nl/file.php?id=192 > > You can probably use Google to get a rough translation for your own language. I haven't started taking andrographis yet although I have some of the whole herb. Can I tincture it or should I grind and encapsulate it? And thanks for the article, Knotweed. For andro I have used both encapsulated bulk powder (didn't notice much effect though) and the standard andrographis pills (worked pretty good, but terrible taste and expensive on full dose). I have to be cautious with garlic myself, seems my skin doesn't like it. My sebacious glands get overactive or inflamed when I put 1-2 cloves of garlic in my food, resulting in skin damage. Maybe it is stirring something up ... It is probably very much a personal thing, experiment with what works for you.

Guest guest
It should be D-Fluconazole as both erythromycin and oral contraceptives( due to high oestrogen) cause gingival hyperplasia. Here's a list I came across in a medline abstract ,of the drugs causing gingival enlargement:Drugs MostCommonly Implicated Drugs Occasionally Implicated Amlodipine Co-trimoxazole NitrendipineCiclosporin Erythromycin Norethisterone+ mestranolDiltiazem Diphenoxylate Phenobarbitone Felodipine Ethosuximide Primidone Lacidipine Interferon-alpha Nifedipine Ketoconazole SertralineOral contraceptives Lamotrigine TopiramatePhenytoin Lithium ValproateVerapamil Mephenytoin VigabatrinThanks Buble I think erythromycin is the best answer as anticonvulsant, immunosuppresive and calcium channel blockers. Guest guest
Hi everyone,The right answer for this question is Fluconazol.I checked and found that A and C can give gingival enlargement (though rarely), B and E definitely cause this. As I read about Fluconazol I didn't fina even a word about the gingival enlargement. So I think the answer is D (Fluconazol)From: Maeeda Fatima <maeedafatima@...> Sent: Thu, May 19, 2011 6:05:15 PMSubject: Re: qs did u get the answer,i cant find all 5 answers to b correctFrom: Rossana Valtes <rvaltes@...>Subject: qs"" < >Date: Thursday, 19 May, 2011, 11:08 AM Which of the following medications has NOT been associated with gingival enlargement?
