Guest guest
Thanks Finete! I alredy checked both MRI for me and my son -and the papers do not say anything. Do you see anything on your CD image if you have chiari or not ? I do not see anything diferent but if there is any slitly change a specialist should confirm that? Can a person see these with nacked eye or should aspecialist check the CD image for it ? My son compleins for the pain on the back of the head right where the line between the head and neck starts. he compleins for the diseasnes also and he is stil on the 10 month of treatment for babesia. He still have it.The night sweets are stil present. Guest guest
see my previous reply about having to ask about chiari--its a measurement of the brain and how low in the skull it sits--a very experienced neurologist or radiologist can make the measurement but most dont--ignore or dismiss as unimportant!! I am a developmental biologist ( embryologist) and while I can barely " see " : whats pointed out to me on films I couldnt make those measurements--Im sure I could learn...but why???? its pretty specific and not simply easily seen--mistakes occur when Drs try to eyeball it--the difference between say 3 mm and 5 mm is mighty tiny to guess at!! and its very subjective--where you measure starting from varies, where the tonsils ( cerebellar) end varies--idf theyre very pointed maybe the tiniest point dips too low but that may matter less than when a large chink is too low--too many variables--thats why you can have 5 MRIs and 5 different conclusions!!!
