Thank you for your thoughtful response.

The naturopath does have a degree. As to the machine, I don't know what

it is called but I looked up meridian testing. I think i t has to do

with electro-magnetic energy. I looked up meridian testing on the web &

this is what I found at one point: " The patient was asked to hold on to

a brass rod in one hand, and the operator used a probe to take readings

from the acupuncture points on the fingers of her other hand. Within

seconds he identified each optimal treatment dosage correctly! "

He did prescribe me some supplements that are not cheap, but the other

doctor there, the LLMD, did the same. Actually his supplements were much

more expensive as were his appointments. Ultimately now I am only

taking two versions of liquid Prima Una de Gato, one being TOA free, &

this is apparently what I am responding to, albeit slowly. There is a

local naturopath here in south central WI, who uses the Rife machine &

says he treated & cured himself with it. He is an older gentleman ( & I

use that word honestly & with conviction) & he is treating a little boy

too whose plight after taking abx was in the Madison (WI) newspapers,

also with the Rife machiine, & he says the child is improving.

Who is to know? This damn bug is so resilient. I went to a Lyme

meeting on Sunday where there were about 20 people, including the old

gentleman above. The consensus in the group is that everyone is sick &

tired of recommendations & more recommendations & most of them are not

taking abx, but basically self treat during flareups. .One man, who I

knew, but didn't know he had Lyme, said he just goes off of caffeine,

alcohol, & sugar until it subsides. He works with herbs & plants &

refuses to stay out of the fields & the woods, where he lives & works.

I don't know what to think. Herbs, homeopathics, Rife machines, abs.

Who knows what works. I have never had symptoms THAT I KNOW OF, but on

the other hand, it's entirely possible that the little aches & pains

that I get from time to time & the fact that I don't have as much energy

as I did last year at this time, may be Lyme. They could also be because

of a 6 month winter with almost 8 feet of snow that made indoor living

pretty much full time.

For me, had I not just recovered from Cdiff when I was diagnosed with

Lyme, I would have takenn the abx in a heartbeat & now I really wish I

had. But having Cdiff pretty much dictates staying away from all broad

spectrum abx, amoxi & doxy being two of those. Still I could have taken

vancomycin at the same time plus lots of probiotics. I should have done

that. But now it's been almost a year.
