Thank you ! Friday, November 22nd was my 3 year MGB anniversary and

November 2nd was my 40th year birthday!! I've got to say that hitting 40

would have never been the same without the MGB. I would hate to see what my

condition would have been like 3 years later as bad as I felt then! I've had

no problems in 3 years except for the bad taste in my mouth is still there.

That started about 8 months ago when I started putting on a little more

weight, and my own opinion is that is from eating more and maybe reflux,

although I don't have any burning. I was barely eating when I reached 124

after separating from my husband of 14 years. Now that I have become more

comfortable and settled I have put this weight back on. My labs this month

were great as usual and I go Dec 2 for EDG, which was clear last year. I am

trying hard to take off this 20 pounds I have gained this year but it is much

harder than taking off the 140 I lost to begin with. It's almost useless to

try until after the holidays so I will continue to eat smart and watch my

quantities. Sometimes I believe this was the weight I was meant to be and I

was too small for ME before and now I have just have to settle in and be

comfortable here. Then on the other hand, I did feel better with more energy

when I weighed 125 and my clothes fit so well. Everyone tells me my face

looks much better at 145 and my fiance like me better at this weight. I am

still planning on taking off at least 10 to 15 pounds. Now I know what it was

like when my friends used to complain about getting off 10 or 20 pounds (when

I was 260). I thought it was a joke and how easy that would be!

I hope to see everyone at the Christmas party....my work party is the same

night as well as one of my best friend's birthday and Christmas party but I

still plan to attend.

To you , a very happy birthday....I hope your day was as special as you

are!

Thanks Sue that was so sweet - I'm going to

finish off the day by listening to an old audio

tape from an answering machine message. It's my

birth mom singing happy birthday to me - I

recently found it - she's been gone since 2001,

and it took me off gaurd but tonight I think it

will be comforting.

One thing I hate about the answering machines we have now is that they're

digital so there's no tape to remove if you want to save something *very*

important. I have the last message my dad left me on mine and warned Ed not

to dare erase it.

Hope you had a nice day.

I found it by accident last week 0 didn't even

know I had it - what a find - my grandpa and aunt

were on there as well - they're also gone. it's

worth listening to the high pitched racket in

between calls - now to get them on to something

safer!

If even one man or woman, is thought to be less than another, whether it be for color of skin, religion, belief, lack of money or physical disability, then we, as the human race, are less, than the full potential, of our collective being. No more destruction in the name of Love, but, Hope, in the Way of Love.Realize the Dream!
